Why this role matters

As Associate Director – Caregiver Relations, you will help shape a workplace where caregivers feel respected, heard, and supported to do their best work. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a seasoned ER professional who can influence senior stakeholders, navigate complexity with confidence, and strengthen trust through fair, thoughtful, and consistent practices.

You will combine sound judgment, empathy, and business acumen to support a fast-moving, innovation-led environment—coaching senior leaders and HRBPs on sensitive caregiver matters while helping build proactive, future-ready ER practices across the organization.

In this role, you will define and lead the ER strategy and roadmap to protect the organization, strengthen accountability, and create positive employee experience that supports both performance and belonging.

 

What you will lead

Strategic partnership & trusted counsel

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and HRBPs on complex, high-impact employee matters, balancing business priorities with fairness, consistency, and care.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including the Global Caregiver Relations team, to align strategy, share insights, and strengthen ER practices across the organization.
  • Bring an external lens by applying market insights, emerging ER trends, and forward-looking problem-solving to shape more proactive people practices.

Employee relations leadership & case stewardship

  • Lead end-to-end grievance management with objectivity, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Coach and advise managers, HRBPs, and caregivers on ER policies and sensitive matters, including performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions, and separations.
  • Maintain accurate case documentation and ensure timely, policy-aligned resolution in compliance with local labor laws.

 

People Analytics & Workforce Insights

  • Serve as a strategic bridge between HR Business Partners and the People Analytics COE, enabling data-driven talent and workforce decisions.
  • Leverage workforce insights across attrition, talent management, performance, and workforce planning to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that inform business strategy.
  • Partner with HRBPs and senior leaders to translate data into actionable recommendations, while bringing relevant industry benchmarks and people analytics practices to the Providence context.


Policy, governance & risk management

  • Design, review, and continuously strengthen ER policies, employee handbooks, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations across relevant jurisdictions, including the IT Act, Shops and Establishments Acts, POSH, and GDPR where applicable. Partnership with HR Compliance Team
  • Partner with Legal to assess litigation risk and provide guidance on complex employee situations.

Culture, caregiver experience & engagement

  • Drive initiatives that strengthen psychological safety, inclusion, and belonging across teams.
  • Analyze caregiver sentiment data, exit feedback, and engagement insights to identify patterns and recommend actions that improve culture and experience.

Manager enablement & capability building

  • Develop frameworks, toolkits, and training content to build ER capability across the organization.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and report ER metrics (case volumes, resolution times, trends, policy breaches) to senior leadership.
  • Leverage HR systems and data to surface workforce insights that inform proactive ER strategy.
  • Partner with Global Caregiver Relations team

 

Who will thrive in this role

You will be a strong fit if you bring

  • Master’s degree in human resources, Law, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
  • Passionate and Curious about technology, data-based decision making and human psychology.
  • A minimum of 14 years of progressive HR/ER experience, with at least 4 years in a dedicated Employee Relations role/ or responsibility of leading the agenda.
  • Deep working knowledge of Indian employment law; exposure to multi-jurisdiction ER is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience managing sensitive matters independently and impartially.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

  • Experience in large, fast-evolving organizations such as FMCG, Pharma, Technology, SaaS, or product-led environments.
  • A strong track record of coaching leaders and teams through change, complexity and challenging scenarios.
