We, at External Services (ES), the healthcare consulting and services arm of Providence India, help build technology solutions that modernize and simplify each step of the healthcare delivery process. And we do that by putting the patient and the provider at the center of everything we do. What will you be responsible for?

  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Resolve cloud infrastructure issues, escalating to the engineering team when necessary
  • Deploy patches and audit compliance to ensure cloud assets align with enterprise policies
  • Provide support for application virtualization servers (e.g., Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop).
  • Perform routine maintenance activities to keep on-prem and cloud assets stable and secure.
  • Proficiency with enterprise server management tools and basic scripting/automation.
  • Hands on knowledge on Virtualization environment involving VMware/Hyper-V.
  • Experience with Windows or Linux operating systems.
  • Helping senior cloud engineers in building modern solutions in Azure Cloud for Compute space.
  • Error resolutions and RCA for Major Incidents.
  • Modernize infrastructure using by adapting Service Reliability Engineering principles and DevOps tooling.
  • Azure Cloud Deployments and Management using IaC.

What would your day look like?

  • Helping in managing & deploy on-prem and cloud-based solutions in collaboration with Senior Engineer or Cloud Architects.
  • Working on day-to-day Azure infrastructure deliveries like, VM deployments, Azure Networking, and Infrastructure as a Code.
  • Working on remediating security vulnerabilities by deploying patching or apply security solutions to fix bugs and security threats.
  • Working on Incident, Change Requests and Operations Projects.
  • Dealing with servers and VMs related problems during the planned or unplanned maintenances.
  • Managing Hypervisor environment in VMWare and Hyper-V.
  • Assisting senior engineering team to identify optimization and modernization opportunities.
  • Use automation to enable Self Service capabilities and reducing manual overhead.

 

Who are we looking for?

  • 1-3 years of experience with Linux/Unix or Windows with Virtualization Experience
  • Good to have experience writing scripts in any of Python/Shell/PowerShell or Ansible
  • Familiar with DevOps tools like Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible or Azure DevOps
  • OS installation, configuration, and support in an Enterprise environment.
  • Experience in troubleshooting, implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous work environment with global team setup.
  • Experience working in feature crew model, knowledge of Agile framework.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to changing landscape and acquire new skills with technology advancement.
  • Strong communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills both in written and verbal correspondence.
