How is this team contributing to vision of Providence:

The Technology Engineering and Ops team provides foundational infrastructure of Cloud Services, Network Connectivity, Data Center Hosting, Voice, Collaboration Applications, and End User Computing enables our caregivers, patients, physicians, and Community Technology partners to achieve our mission. We drive Cloud migrations, Network modernization and infra modernization across the company.

What will you be responsible for:

  • As a Technical Program Manager focused on Infrastructure, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects in Providence Infrastructure (Endpoint & Citrix) space

What would your week look like:

  • Strong understanding of Vulnerability management , Information security and cybersecurity hands or driving programs in this space.
  • Managing backlog in ADO, documenting requirements and working with engineering teams to deliver automation, On-prem and cloud migration and other infra and endpoint projects
  • Act as the primary point of contact between business and Information and cyber security teams
  • Partner closely with engineering leads and cross-functional disciplines to guide technical projects
  • Focus on communicating and translating non-technical to technical (and vice versa) requirements and discussions
  • Communicate project status to partners and several important teams around the organization
  • Manage technology programs, defining milestones and success criteria, resource allocation and successful on-time delivery
  • Taking care of building, automating, and developing large scale distributed systems from ground up
  • Provide day-to-day execution guidance and support for engineering projects, coordinating efforts across organizations and departments, and helping unblock teams by identifying and resolving issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, financial, technical, and customer’s goals
  • Develop tools and processes to improve engineering productivity

Who are we looking for:

  • Experience managing end-to end execution of complex programs that span multiple engineering teams through the Software or Hardware lifecycle
  • Experience with technologies such as virtualization, compute, storage, migration, capacity and Cloud Solutions
  • Experience understanding technical architecture and design aspects in Infrastructure and Application space
  • Experience managing programs with remote/distributed teams
  • PMP, CSM, CSPO or any other relevant certification in related space will be added advantage
  • Knowledge or exposure on LEAN, Six Sigma, KANBAN
  • 5 plus years in Information Technology, Vulnerability Management, cyber security
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or information science or related field education/experience
