We are a group of data professionals who work towards enabling decisions that improve patient and caregiver experience.


Job Description:

The Data Quality Analyst is a business-facing and/or technical role within Healthcare Intelligence. As such, the Data Quality Analyst may work with Business Data Stewards and other Business stakeholders to understand data quality requirements, assess the impacts of those needs and translate them to data quality scripts that can be executed against disparate databases and tables. The Data Quality Analyst will use a variety of tools to profile data through the lenses of data quality dimensions, such as completeness, conformity, accuracy, validity and other dimensions.

Knowledge and Background:

  • 4- 7 Years of experience in Data Quality & Data Governance
  • Proven expertise in Informatica Data Quality/Cloud data quality
  • Applied knowledge of dimensional data quality management
  • Applied knowledge of data quality dimensions, e.g., Completeness, Conformity, Accuracy, etc.
  • Experience in building DQ score cards and its model.
  • Experience in CAI, CDI highly desirable
  • Applied knowledge of data quality tools
  • Knowledge of database concepts
  • Knowledge of data governance
  • Knowledge of other data management disciplines – master data management, data privacy, etc.
  • Knowledge of general quality assurance principles

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with Data Governance Analysts to understand the data governance and data quality implications of a new project or initiative.
  • Define and lead full-scale Data Classification, Identification & data quality program encompassing data lifecycle, right from inception to full-scale implementation
  • Partner with data engineering platform team in ensuring design, delivery meets the established data standards
  • Collaborate with Business Data Stewards and other Business stakeholders to develop business data quality rules and requirements.
  • Develop mapplets that translate business data quality rues into scripts that can be executed against tables and columns.
  • Manage the output error files by exporting them from the tool to data warehouse tables.
  • Develop visualization that publishes the errors.
  • Conduct ongoing monitoring of the state of data quality.
