The Opportunity

Providence India is aimed to digitally enable our vision of Health for a better world. The Providence India Global Center is focused on driving growth, efficiency and transformation for the the organization. With over 1500+ strong, the organization has achieved several milestones and in the five year journey. The Corporate Strategy Team at Providence is responsible for building a blueprint of growth and value acceleration for the Center, including building annual plans, strategic growth initiatives and driving a rigor-oriented run of the business.

 

This role will be responsible for driving the overall strategy charter for the global center while navigating the market and industry change to drive robust growth.

As the Director of Strategy and Operations you will be responsible for managing the Pillar Strategy teams supporting the pillar leaders including coordinating the strategic, operational, and product priorities and cadence globally. In this role, you will partner closely with senior IT leaders and cross-functional teams to execute business-accelerating initiatives, position the business for strategic success, and lead on-going improvements in products and operations. You will be a thought partner for the Center leadership and various cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Finance, Product, HR, etc.).

You will be instrumental in partnering with the leadership team to shape the go-to-market strategy, for external health systems and build growth campaigns aligned to the right offerings.

 

Key Responsibilites

 

 Strategic:

  • Build, design and deliver strategic programs and initiatives for the global center and external health systems to measure value  
  • Drive operational improvements, efficiencies including value acceleration and realization frameworks working with the business teams
  • Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams for strategic planning including quarterly and annual business plans and aligned KPIs and goals
  • Build value plays and GTM playbooks to accelerate new logo acquisition in the right customer segments
  • Steer global initiatives, and ensure that relevant transformation initiatives are cascaded across the organization

 

Leadership:

  • Build and deepen the culture in the strategy organizational that is data driven anchored, aligned with the industry trends and is focused on growth and value realization
  • Identify and execute high priority workstreams to deliver on the 5 year strategic growth plan of the organization
  • Experience in People leadership handling large teams, complex transformation and successful in building and growing teams
  • Manage team performance with clear objectives, goals and expectations as required to meet operational, quality, and mission goals. 
  • Develop and provide guidance for negotiations with preferred information technology vendor contracts.  Manage key vendor and partner relationships.

 

Professional Experience/Qualifications

  • 12 – 18 years of professional experience in strategy, consulting, corporate development, business development or a related field.
  • Exposure to diverse industries, complex problem solving and client management experience
  • Experience in identifying and evaluating growth opportunities, partnerships and potential acquisitions
  • Master’s degree in business administration, Strategy, Marketing
