Healthcare Analytics and Engineering is the pillar that focuses on creating intelligent products within Providence and provides unique opportunities in Product Development, Product Design, Data Engineering, Operations, Data Science, BI Reporting and Data Analytics on cloud stack. Data Analytics Engineers analyze & profile large amount of raw data to derive and present Business Insights for better decision making. They would provide best in class reports and services to end users by modeling data and creating insightful visualizations.

 

As a Director - Data Analytics , you will –

  • Contribute to creating a robust vision for data analytics team within Providence India. Maintain healthy backlog of futuristic product features and technical capabilities.
  • Manage a team of Data Analytics Engineers or Data Analytics Managers by coaching and mentoring team members to scale up their technical abilities. Identify team members who have the skill of innovation and mentor them in the respective area and to deliver on time and with high quality.
  • Establish and review standards, own complicated modules, and establish design and development approach as needed.
  • Engage with stakeholders globally and participate in decisions related to product goals, features, and priorities. Actively look for opportunities to expand business and technical solutions to be built.
  • Create insightful dashboards and robust metrics working along with leaders, business analyst, product managers and data analytics engineers.

  • Constantly find ways to improved and innovate by learning the business and adding technological perspectives that can improve the business.
  • Be highly self-driven and motivate the team on exploratory paths. Taking initiative on identifying and bringing insightful data points to business stakeholders
  • Build industry connect to stay up-to speed as well as to share analytics solutions built within the team for greater adoption and usability. Show an ever-learning mindset to strengthen understanding of global health care systems.

 

Leadership:

  • Attract, retain, and develop world class engineering talent.
  • Promote and foster an organizational culture that is innovative, agile, flexible, and aligned to the mission and values of the organization.
  • Identify and execute high priority strategies to meet the data and information needs of Providence executives and managers.
  • Ensure data quality and security across the enterprise including external data.
  • Manage performance with respect to budget, objectives, and customer expectations as required to meet operational, quality, and mission goals. 
  • Develop and provide guidance for negotiations with preferred information technology vendor contracts.  Manage key vendor and partner relationships.

 

 

Professional Experience/ Qualification:

  • 14+ years’ experience working on Business Intelligence or Big Data solutions with strong hold on the fundamental concepts of data modeling.
  • Ability to write SQL/R/ Python scripts or any other scripting language to retrieve data.
  • Ability to understand and apply data science and machine learning methodologies. Work closely with data science team member to operationalize advanced analytics.
  • Ability to derive meaning visualization from data for a story-telling narrative and coaching team members on similar line.
  • Holds the ability to derive meaningful insights from raw data and create impactful visualization. Ability to build reports using PowerBI, Tableau or any other reporting tool.
  • Hands-on experience with relational, NoSQL databases, indexing, partitioning, parallel data processing and dimensional data modelling.
  • Experience in cloud technologies (Azure/AWS) experience.
  • Seeks to create strong partnerships within Providence India and globally with other Data / Solution Architects / Data Scientists and contributes to the enterprise data models.
  • Gains understanding of the existing systems in Providence and proposes architecture/design changes as applicable for better scalability, maintenance, and cost efficiency.
  • Gains understanding of industry best practices and finds opportunities to apply them within the Providence Healthcare Intelligence landscape to deliver best-in-class services to customers.
  • Experience in highly scalable Data systems like Apache Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Cube Development, distributed data architecture would be a plus.
  • Experience in People Management skills and managing large teams. Excellent ability to design, prioritize, plan, and track large scale products.
  • Experience in Healthcare or Revenue Cycle business domains is a plus
