The Opportunity
Providence’s Population Health team is made up of trusted technologists, advisors and thought partners. Our priority is to transform health care for better outcomes and to improve the experience of patients, members, and communities. We work collaboratively with regional leaders in the US and India as well as externally with community partners, payers, and government agencies to build Value Based Care solutions.
As an expert in Value Based Care, you shall bring in industry expertise & thought leadership and would thrive in a rapidly evolving healthcare ecosystem to organize teams, develop a clear strategy and guide teams to consistently deliver results. You shall lead and manage our “Population Health Informatics” capabilities at Providence India and provide strategic leadership and partnership to our Global Teams to deliver. You shall stay abreast on evolving trends and help us in being in sync with latest industry developments at a global level.
Key Responsibilites
Strategic:
- Drive strategy, roadmaps, and product vision while working with Population Health business owners.
- Think innovatively and manage teams that develop technology and deliver results.
- Build relationships with Providence business teams, engineering teams, and payers
- Develop a prioritized multi-year roadmap to build a Population health platform for Providence with a future potential to expand to other health systems.
- Bring in & drive changes to improve productivity, predictability, platforms in line with organizational aspirations & culture.
- Anticipate changing demands and creatively realign Population Health objectives as needed to align with organizational strategic objectives.
- Work as a key member of the leadership team to create a high performing team that will drive necessary leadership and personnel changes in a consistent and caring manner.

Professional Experience/Qualifications
- Over 15 years of Industry experience in technology engineering experience along with people & leadership experience technical roles, solid shipping, people management and leadership experience.
- 5+ years People management experience managing team performance, delivery, roadmap, mentoring & coaching.
- Empathy towards User base and focus on outcomes of the platform and team.
- Required Skills:
- US Healthcare Knowledge, Population Health, Value Based Care risk arrangements, healthcare finance, claims adjudication processes, healthcare data, and interoperability.
- Fluent in Microsoft Technical Stack and Microsoft Native Azure.
- Experience in Data Engineering, Operations, Dev Ops tech stack leveraging Microsoft Azure.
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Public Health, or Equivalent
