The Opportunity

 

We are looking for a Leader with deep domain expertise in FP & A, who can lead the function to the next level in providing strategic support for business growth. This is a highly visible role that has the long-term vision of transforming FP & A operations for Providence India and implementing the best practices for global FP & A function. It requires the Leader to manage continuously evolving environment and high levels of ambiguity while driving strategy and transformation.

 

Key ResponsibilitIES

 

  • Anticipate changing demands from the Providence organization and business environment and creatively realign data and analytics objectives as needed to align with organizational strategic objectives.
  • Own and drive the budgeting, forecasting and management reporting processes
  • Lead the Business Partnership function for External Services, provide guidance for pricing and set up guardrails for new business lines
  • Build and manage reporting to investors and other external stakeholders
  • Drive transformation through automation and simplification of processes; implement industry best practices
  • Be the strategic partner and trusted advisor to the business functions in India in achieving short-term and long-term financial goals
  • Engage with global stakeholders and build strategic partnerships for effective collaboration on key processes and downstream dependencies
  • Oversee support provided to global teams; strengthen and deepen the global engagements
  • Promote and foster a team culture that is innovative, agile, flexible, and aligned to the mission and values of the organization

Professional Experience/Qualifications

  • MBA with specialization in Finance or CA
  • 14 – 18 years of experience in FP & A, automation and related processes
  • Experience in hiring, building and managing teams
  • Maturity to handle regional and global stakeholders across the hierarchy 
  • Ability to build complex models and analyses, handling large data sets
  • Experience in incubating, creating and successfully executing strategic plans with an ability to interact, influence and communicate at all levels of an organization and manage shifting priorities would be critical for the success in this position
  • Detailed oriented leader with a project management mindset and the ability to see the big picture and think strategically combined with a deep understanding of day-to-day operations
  • Strong communicator with high emotional intelligence, that builds relationships and trust and collaborates with all stakeholders
