ERP Analyst 2
General Summary:
The Oracle ERP Financial IS Analyst plays a crucial role in applying finance and accounting principles to our Oracle ERP system. This position will support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of finance and accounting business applications.

• This position will be involved in the implementation and ongoing daily support of business applications. Works very closely with the company's Finance departments, vendors and contractors, and other IS caregivers to implement and maintain these applications.
• Identify and analyze operational and systems issues and opportunities and produce effective solutions.
• Assist business partners with business process improvement, business requirements gathering and test planning.
• Prepare design specifications and test plans, scenarios and scripts.
• Consult with functional departments to identify necessary definition or changes to systems.
• Understand customers business needs and builds workflows while engaging key customer representatives and incorporating known solutions.
• Management of specific work items and/or projects, including planning, scoping, estimation, status reporting.
• Help investigate and resolve system functional and technical errors. Troubleshoot on systems and data and generate solutions which may include systems modifications enhancements or new procedures.
• Design, configure and test systems functionality changes
• Coordinate with other IT areas who are responsible for file transfers, security administration, reporting, databases and other functions.
• Report, track, and resolve application related issues with the Oracle support organization.
• Demonstrate service excellence and positive interpersonal relationships in dealing with others, so that productivity and positive relations are maximized.
• Perform rotational on-call responsibilities.
• Independently define tasks; identify stakeholders and their objectives. Create documentation, capable of writing complex scope of work and justifications.
• Teams with the business and other IS disciplines to develop and maintain appropriate disaster recovery architecture, projects, and policies and participates in disaster drills for applications.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate proficiency in ERP functionalities, one or more of the follow Oracle core functions:
o General Ledger/COA
o Accounts Receivable
o Tax/Vertex
• Reviewing Oracle Cloud quarterly release notes and CWBs to both assess impact to existing functionality and make recommendations to business users on new functionality. Supporting release regression testing.
Qualification:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 3 years of Application design, implementation and/or maintenance of one or more of the following large scale Enterprise Resource Planning systems - Oracle ERP Cloud.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 3 to 5 years Functional experience in Oracle Cloud Financials ERP
