The Opportunity

We are seeking a strategic and transformative leader to lead our Digital Workplace Engineering organization. This role is accountable for defining and executing the enterprise Digital Workplace strategy, delivering a seamless, modern, secure, and productive employee experience for over 140,000 global caregivers and employees.

 

The Director will oversee Endpoint Engineering, Digital Employee Experience (DEX), Modern Device Management, Workplace Automation, Application Delivery, and Employee Experience Transformation initiatives. This leader will drive innovation across the workplace ecosystem, enabling a highly productive hybrid workforce while ensuring operational excellence, security, scalability, and user-centric design.

 

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Microsoft technologies, endpoint modernization, enterprise-scale workplace transformation, and employee experience platforms, coupled with proven leadership managing global teams and large-scale transformation programs.

 

 

Key Responsibilites

 

Digital Workplace Strategy & Transformation

  • Define and execute the enterprise Digital Workplace vision, roadmap, and transformation strategy.
  • Lead modernization initiatives focused on improving employee productivity, engagement, collaboration, and digital experience.
  • Drive transformation programs supporting hybrid work, remote work enablement, workplace mobility, and workforce productivity.
  • Evaluate emerging workplace technologies and establish strategic innovation roadmaps.

 

Endpoint Engineering & Modern Device Management

  • Lead global Endpoint Engineering teams responsible for workplace technology architecture and lifecycle management.
  • Drive enterprise adoption of modern management technologies including:
    • Microsoft Intune
    • Mobile Device Management (MDM)
    • SCCM / Microsoft Configuration Manager
    • Windows Endpoint Management
    • Device Security & Compliance
  • Develop scalable endpoint management solutions for diverse global workforce requirements.
  • Ensure endpoint platforms meet performance, security, reliability, and compliance standards.

 

Digital Employee Experience (DEX)

  • Own the Digital Employee Experience strategy and operating model.
  • Leverage platforms such as Nexthink to measure, monitor, and improve employee productivity and technology experience.
  • Establish DEX metrics, insights, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Create proactive user experience monitoring capabilities to identify workplace friction points and improve workforce productivity.

 

Workplace Automation & Productivity

  • Identify opportunities to automate workplace processes, reducing employee effort and support dependency.
  • Drive self-service, auto-remediation, and intelligent workplace capabilities.
  • Implement AI-driven and automation-led experiences across endpoint and workplace services.
  • Champion productivity improvements through workplace analytics and data-driven decision making.

 

Mobility & Emerging Workplace Technologies

  • Lead enterprise mobility initiatives, including mobile transformation and next-generation endpoint platforms.
  • Drive adoption of technologies such as:
    • IGEL
    • Virtual Workspaces
    • Thin Client Modernization
    • Digital Workspace Platforms
    • Endpoint Virtualization Solutions
  • Develop future-state workplace capabilities supporting a flexible and distributed workforce.

Professional Experience/Qualifications

  • Bachelors/ master’s degree - computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in End User Computing (EUC), Digital Workplace, Infrastructure Engineering, or Employee Experience Transformation.
  • 7+ years of leadership experience managing large, globally distributed teams.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise environments with 50,000+ users.
  • Proven track record leading large-scale Digital Workplace transformation programs.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and cloud-native architectures.
