What will you be responsible for? 

  • Ensure that the Financial Statements are in compliance with relevant Indian Accounting Standards, US GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with cross functional teams in ensuring the month-close activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner and repoted onto HFM
  • Validate purchase orders and amendment requests to ensure they comply with Sourcing policy, and route them for approvals. 
  • Review Balance Sheet account reconciliations to ensure the balances reported are supported with appropriate evidence and an action plan for the aged open items. 
  • Support the team in day-to-day activities by providing appropriate guidance for compliance with company policies and standards
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor and customer invoices, employee expense reports, and payments including application of customer receipts.
  • Work closely with Tax consultants, Bankers to submit the required information ensuring accuracy and timeliness for various regulatory filings
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions to setup and maintain a Vendor Master, Item master, Fixed Asset, GST Tax and HSN Codes in ERP system.  
  • Assist in creating, documenting and maintaining policies and procedures along with internal control evaluations and implement best practices across processes.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of tools and applications in support of the accounting function and highlight opportunities for improvement, managing projects that will yield efficiency through automation and optimization
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and responses to audit queries.

 

Who we are looking for?

 

  • Must be a Chartered Accountant 
  • 6-9 years of experience in Core Finance 
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment and drive operational initiatives.
