Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced BI Analytics professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 5 years of experience in business intelligence and analytics, with proficiency in Power BI, data modeling, SQL, Snowflake, and DAX. The candidate should have knowledge of various domains within cyber security and have prior experience in creating CISO Dashboards using relevant Cyber Security Metrics. The candidate should be adept at collaborating with business stakeholders, developing ETL processes, and creating BI solutions. A strong understanding of data visualization, the best practices, excellent problem-solving, and analytical skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, Develop, and Maintain BI Solutions: Create and manage reports, scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI to effectively tell the story of the data and highlight anomalies.
  • Develop and optimize data models for reporting, ensuring scalability, performance, and usability.
  • Connect to various data sources, including SQL databases, APIs, Excel, cloud platforms, and flat files to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data into Power BI.
  • Utilize DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) in Power BI for complex calculations for data transformation.
  • Data Modeling and SQL: Develop and maintain data models, write complex SQL queries, and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • ETL Processes: Design and implement ETL processes to acquire, aggregate, cleanse, organize, and manage large complex datasets from multiple sources.
  • Collaborate with Business Stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable insights and BI solutions.
  • Data Visualization: Apply best practices in data visualization to create intuitive and insightful dashboards and reports.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Employ critical thinking and creative problem-solving to address data or analytics limitations and escalate issues to leadership when appropriate.
  • Documentation and Communication: Prepare effective presentations, document analytical findings, and communicate results to stakeholders and leadership.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 4 to 5 years of experience in business intelligence and analytics, Power BI development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Snowflake.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI for developing reports, dashboards, and using Power Query and DAX for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying, transforming, and integrating data from databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).
  • Data Modeling: Expertise in data modeling and understanding of data visualization best practices.
  • ETL Processes: Experience in designing and implementing ETL processes.
  • Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in Power BI, or other BI tools.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the healthcare industry and Cyber security
