How is this Team Contributing to Vision of Providence:

The Technology Engineering and Ops team provides foundational infrastructure of Cloud Services, Network Connectivity, Data Center Hosting, Voice, Collaboration Applications, and End User Computing enables our caregivers, patients, physicians, and Community Technology partners to achieve our mission. We drive Cloud migrations, Network modernization and infra modernization across the company.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Responsible to synthesize business needs into data requirements and build a roadmap for sustainable solutions for data extraction and cleansing, migrations, data conflict resolutions.
  • A self-starter mindset who has ability to architect and build solutions for data migration problems from scratch.
  • Work with Cloud Engineering teams to deliver Cloud Transformations & Data Migrations projects.

What would your day look like?

  • Primarily responsible for delivering the Data Center, Cloud Migrations and Data Extraction /Archival projects.
  • Work with Solutions and Engineering team to understand the end-to-end requirements, assessment, and Migration/Extraction planning.
  • Design and implement solutions that enable data migrations of historical and new ingested data from different databases. 
  • Able to troubleshoot and analyze issues related to data engineering and assist in identifying viable solutions.
  • Design processes that monitor data sources for anomalies and support rapid resolution for the same.                          
  • Drive the Lift & shift Migrations, Refactor migrations along with the migration stakeholders and OnBase Administration/Data Conversion
  • Drive Data Migration, Extraction and Archival activities for Health care applications. (Azure Database, Data Bricks, Data Factory, Data Lake)

 

Who are we looking for?

  • Minimum 4-7 years of exp. in managing large Transformation projects with good hands-on Cloud Migration tools like Azure Migrate, Cloud Endure & third party.
  • Ability to deliver solutions leveraging Azure platform services for cloud only and hybrid (cloud & on-prem) scenarios.
  • Fluent in data stack and experience of working on large datasets. Strong experience on Microsoft SQL server and SQL Azure, Azure data bricks, Azure Data Factory.
  • Hands on experience on Spark solution and performance tuning. Hands on experience on scripting language such as python/Scala/spark.
  • Has experience on ETL/ELT concepts and tools.
  • Hands-on experience with key compute, network, storage, security services and their components – VM (Windows & Linux), V Net, Configuring NSGs and Route tables, App Gateway, Express Route, Scale sets, Azure Databricks, ADF, Azure Data Lake, AKS, ASE, WAF, RBAC model, log analytics etc.
  • Hand-on experience in Data Extraction, Conversion and Archival, Hands-on experience on Hyland OnBase and HL7 proficient
  • Ability to effectively communicate and excellent interpersonal skills, Experience working in Agile/sprints in a global team setup.
  • Certified Azure Data Engineer Associate (or equivalent).
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Management, or IS
