We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Learning Developer to create, design, and deliver innovative and engaging learning materials for our organization. Operating under guidance, the Associate Learning Developer is a visionary builder of learning, dedicated to bringing the learning blueprint to life by converting educational concepts into engaging and effective digital learning experiences. This role leverages their foundational knowledge in user experience design and digital learning tools to transform static content into visually engaging, interactive, learner-centric experiences. This role demands a unique blend of creative insight, and technical acumen to assist with the strategic development of new and continuous improvement of the digital learning portfolio at Providence. Assisting with multiple projects simultaneously, The Associate Learning Developer participates in collaborative efforts with diverse cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, project stakeholders, and instructional designers to develop comprehensive and cohesive learning solutions. They draw upon the expertise of these colleagues to ensure the content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with the learning blueprint and intended learning experience, while adhering to established industry, organizational and quality assurance standards. As a progressing industry leader, the Associate Learning Developer is responsible for remaining current on the latest industry trends and advancements in learning development methods and technology. The Associate Learning Developer plays a pivotal role in elevating the learning framework at Providence by developing exceptional digital learning experiences that not only facilitate the acquisition of new skills but also foster the retention of knowledge and empowers our caregivers to thrive in their roles and continue to grow both personally and professionally. The incumbent performs all duties in a manner that promotes Providence’s mission, values, and philosophy. In all aspects, he/she serves as a role model for the values and mission of the organization.

 

What will you be responsible for?

• Serve as a visionary builder of basic learning experiences, by assisting in the development of transformative, engaging, and impactful digital learning experiences.

• Provide assistance in the triage process of incoming learning development requests by evaluating scope, gathering relevant information through intake meetings and prioritizing projects.

• Utilize foundational knowledge in user experience and digital learning tools and technology to strategically develop and continuously improve the digital learning portfolio at Providence, aligning it with organizational goals and emerging industry trends.

• Support a diverse portfolio of multiple projects simultaneously, providing basic consultation and guidance in learning development.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, project stakeholders, and instructional designers, to ensure the content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with the learning blueprint and intended learning experience.

• Maintain accurate documentation of development processes, timelines, updates, approvals, and version control to ensure transparency and accountability in the development and management of digital learning assets and supplemental resources.

• Stay current on learning development industry trends and advancements in technology, proactively integrating innovative approaches and emerging tools to enhance the quality and relevance of digital learning solutions.

 

Who we are looking for?

  • Essential: Min 3 yrs work experience in digital learning (eLearning) development, digital learning tools, technology, and platforms, in graphic, video, and audio production.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Adult Learning, Instructional Design, Human Resources, Business, or closely related field. Industry recognized certificate in adult learning, eLearning development, instructional design, or closely related field.
  • Preferred: Experience working with enterprise Healthcare Management (HCM) systems, learning management systems (LMS), learning experience platforms (LXP), and learning technology ecosystems.
  • Preferred: Successful track record of working effectively with subject matter experts, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders from a wide variety of disciplines.
