Job Description

 

The ServiceNow Business Analyst is responsible for gathering IT and business stakeholder requirements related to ServiceNow and partnering with the ServiceNow Application Architect and development team to transform the requirements into a viable solution. The ServiceNow Business Analyst will focus on Application development, Service Portal, Integrations modules.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Work with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements.
  • Analyze business problems to design and document solutions up front with technical and creative teams
  • During requirements sessions, provide recommendations to streamline and optimize processes and align with the overall Catalog framework.
  • Document full requirements, including form layout, fields, and workflows.
  • Partner with the ServiceNow Application Architect and development team to determine the best technical solution to address the requirements.
  • Perform testing in pre-Prod environments to ensure that the documented requirements are met. Defines test cases and acceptance criteria.
  • Keeps stakeholders informed on request status and timelines.
  • Assists in gathering core configuration requirements, translate these into design model and manage the overall implementation process in cooperation with developers
  • Participates in design, test and transition Service Management and Service Integration solutions within the Now Platform
  • Participates in Custom application development team
  • Perform business analyst activities related to the continued growth of the ServiceNow platform, including the deployment of additional modules and functionality.

 

Skills

  • Establishes and communicates the project mission and objectives to all stakeholders
  • Significant experience working with ServiceNow applications
  • Lead teams in the systems integration of ServiceNow
  • 3+ years of experience in designing for ServiceNow ITSM and any other module like ITBM, ITOM, Custom App, Now platform features.
  • Manage Agile implementations including the application of User Stories, User Studies, design and create Wireframes and graphic assets
  • Effective prioritization, negotiation skills and high energy
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills at all levels in the organization (from individual contributor to executive level).
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to build positive relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge on agile methodology.

 

Preferred Skills

  • ServiceNow specific module: presales/micro-certifications
  • Good to have with the following: Application development, mobile application development, web development, design thinking, UI/UX, workflow design and development, platform development
