How is this Team contributing to the vision of Providence:  

The Quality Engineering team drives Product and project quality validations, Automation and DB operations checks across PGC. We support full stack test automation for products across PGC and contribute towards the success of products as a final decision-making team on Quality. 

 

What will you be responsible for?  

  • Work with the Product Owners, Stakeholders and Engineering teams to validate and enhance the product functionality and features. 

  • Creating Automation frameworks , workflows ,scripts ,pipelines and utilities to validate Data , Functionality and product end to end features.  

 

What would your day look like?  

  • Define automation strategy (functional & API) for the area of ownership. 

  • Build regression suite using Automation framework with BDD style. 

  • Develop test scenarios and test cases for the user stories and acceptance criteria. 

  • Ensure all impacted areas are tested and documented. 

  • Participate in sprint ceremonies. 

 

Who are we looking for?  

  • Must have 6-10 years experience.  

  • Expert experience developing test strategies and automation for unit, integration, system, acceptance, performance, security, usability, compatibility, alpha, beta, smoke, and other kinds of testing. 

  • Experience with manual testing of entire portal and modules. 

  • Excellent communication skills with strong presentation and facilitation skills at all levels in the organization  

  • Knowledge on Java/C#/JS for custom scripting  with Selenium for automation. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with key stakeholders. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Knowledge on agile methodology 

  • Works closely with architects and peer leaders in development to validate nonfunctional requirements of the product at scale. Build & publish test plans, test strategies, review team’s test plans and road map of testing during upgrades.
