Job Title: Sr. Power Platform Administrator

Location: [Hyderabad] Job Type: [Full-time] Department: ESI Reports To: Sr. IT Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Power Platform Infrastructure Administrator to manage and maintain the infrastructure supporting Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, securing, and optimizing Power Platform environments, ensuring seamless integration, governance, and compliance. This role requires deep expertise in Power Platform administration, Dataverse management, security controls, and automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Power Platform environments, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
  • Configure and manage environment settings, licensing, capacity, and performance monitoring.
  • Implement governance policies, security controls, and compliance frameworks for Power Platform usage.
  • Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, ensuring high availability and scalability.
  • Manage Dataverse, including data integrity, backup and recovery, storage optimization, and security configurations.
  • Establish and maintain DLP (Data Loss Prevention) policies, role-based access controls, and secure integrations.
  • Collaborate with IT security teams to align Power Platform infrastructure with enterprise security standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, optimizing system reliability.
  • Implement automation frameworks using PowerShell, Power Automate, and API integrations to streamline administration tasks.
  • Provide documentation, training, and support for internal teams on Power Platform administration best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest Power Platform infrastructure developments and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in administering Microsoft Power Platform infrastructure in an enterprise environment.
  • Expertise in Power Platform administration, including Dataverse, environment configurations, and security management.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Azure AD, SharePoint, and Teams integrations.
  • Experience in configuring and enforcing DLP, compliance, and security policies within Power Platform.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation for administrative tasks.
  • Familiarity with API management, data connectors, and system integrations.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a cloud-based environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to document and train end-users on best practices.
  • Background in ITIL processes and IT service management.
  • Experience working with compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft certifications such as PL-600: Power Platform Solution Architect, PL-500: Power Automate RPA Developer, or PL-400: Power Platform Developer.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud/on-premises environments and Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) toolkit.
