Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) CMDB Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • CMDB Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the CMDB, including data entry, maintenance, and updates.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data within the CMDB by conducting regular audits and reconciliations.
  • Configuration Management: Develop and maintain configuration management processes, procedures, and policies to support EAM initiatives.
  • Integration: Integrate the CMDB with other IT service management (ITSM) and enterprise applications to enhance data flow and automation.
  • Reporting: Generate and distribute reports on CMDB data, including asset lifecycle, compliance, and performance metrics.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with IT, operations, and business stakeholders to identify and address CMDB-related requirements and issues.
  • Training: Provide training and support to team members and end-users on CMDB processes and best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance CMDB efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing CMDB within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – CMDB preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of ServiceNow EAM, ITSM, and CMDB modules, including data model, architecture, and integrations.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a focus on delivering high-quality results on time.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
