Population Health team focuses on value-based health care by providing timely and quality care for the population. Population Health Informatics team integrates member eligibility and claims data from payers, provider systems and third parties and loads this data into the Cloud Data Warehouse (CDW). This data is then consumed by external stakeholders and internal executive analytics team, for which on-time and accurate data availability is a critical aspect.

What will you be responsible for?

 

A Service Engineer in Population Health Informatics group will be responsible for:

  • Processing the monthly Eligibility and Claims data files using the existing pipelines and ensure data is up to date in CDW, bring in automations to reduce manual intervention and improve data processing efficiency.
  • Building a robust service by owning up the non-functional requirements like Performance, Availability, Scalability and Reliability.
  • Building CI/CD pipelines, ownership on Change Management and deployments, building and implementing fail safe deployments with capability to rollback selective data, management of data storage on Azure and Snowflake.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues, simplify complex problems/processes.
  • Design and operate processes that monitor data sources for anomalies and support rapid resolution for affected business processes.
  • Own the platform environments and identify opportunities to evolve towards ZDD, One Click Deploy, Security implementations.
  • Collaborate with Data and Quality Engineers, assist in identifying possible solutions and code maintenance.
  • Identify service improvements and develop and design tools that will streamline the service to improve end-user experiences and lower operating costs.
  • Partner with Global Engineering teams on shared goals and focus on the outcomes with a collaborative mindset.
  • Should be able to work on rotational escalation/ on-call responsibilities, shift model.

 

 

Who are we looking for?

  • 7 - 10 years of experience in CI/CD implementations on Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excelling debugging and scripting skills.
  • Required Technical Skills: Azure Cloud, CI/CD tools, SQL, Powershell/Python, understanding of Blob Storage
  • Preferred Technical Skills: Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks/PySpark
  • Preferred: Experience in Healthcare Industry
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
