The Administrative Technologies team focuses on creating platform, services, products for the 119K Caregivers (employees) and provides opportunities in Application development, Data Engineering, Service Maturity/ Quality of Service, Reporting & Analytics, 3rd Party SaaS products integrations.

What will you be responsible for?

The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical skills in full stack development of data stack, work on vision and roadmap of a product. Candidate should be adept at applying his/ her experience with a focus on problem solving and building an E2E system. Candidate should be highly collaborative and have a strong drive for high quality and engineering excellence focus.

  • Contribute to E2E features with full ownership of specific areas and focus on quality, schedule and engineering excellence
  • Ability to scale up on solving design problems, helping Manager and Principal Engineers in team
  • Code, Test, Deployment, Support of his/ her feature to be driven based on architecture parameters like Performance, Security, Reliability, Scalability and Configurability
  • Collaborate with rest of the team to drive decision making and roadmaps with focus on outcomes
  • Simplifying complex problems/ systems and excellent debugging skills
  • Practice Reusing/ Sharing the code across different components

What would your day look like?

  • Closely work with team on the delivery, roadmap execution while continuously looking to evolve the product
  • Partner with Service Engineering and Product Management team for Quality of Service
  • Partner with Global Engineering teams on shared goals and focus on the outcomes with a collaborative mindset

Who are we looking for?

  • 5 – 8 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • In-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including Service Portal and ServiceNow APIs.
  • Experience with web development frameworks like AngularJS or ReactJS.
  • Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-friendly development.
  • Knowledge on ServiceNow subscription and license models.
  • Design and develop solutions within ServiceNow environment by following best practices.
  • Hands on experience in developing both custom and scoped applications.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow's scripting languages, such as GlideScript or Jelly.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and ability to create visually appealing interfaces.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow modules and IT service management processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent

 

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing ServiceNow portals using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ServiceNow APIs.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional portal designs.
  • Customizing portal components, layouts, and themes to align with the organization's branding and user experience guidelines.
  • Implementing responsive design principles to ensure seamless user experience across various devices and screen sizes.
  • Integrating data and functionality from ServiceNow modules into the portal, such as incident management, knowledge base, and service catalog.
