Job Summary: The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing category-level sourcing strategies that deliver measurable cost savings, mitigate supply risk, and improve supplier performance. This role requires strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management skills, and deep experience in strategic sourcing, negotiations, and supplier relationship management across categories spend areas, including Professional services, Staff Augmentations, IT Supplies, Software/licenses, Interior fit out projects and Real Estate & Facility Management.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing & Category Management

  • Develop and Partner strategic sourcing initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives including spend analysis, Market research, RFx development, supplier evaluation, negotiations, contracting, and implementation.
  • Identify cost reduction, value creation, and risk mitigation opportunities across the categories.
  • Drive cost analysis and total cost of ownership (TCO) models to support sourcing decisions.

 

Supplier Management & Negotiation

  • Lead commercial negotiations with strategic and critical suppliers to achieve optimal pricing, terms, and service levels.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, including performance reviews, business reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assess supplier financial health, capacity, ESG compliance, and risk exposure.
  • Manage supplier consolidation and rationalization initiatives where appropriate.

 

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with internal stakeholders (Engineering, Operations, IT, L&D, TA and Other Business Units) to understand requirements and align sourcing strategies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business teams on procurement best practices and market intelligence.
  • Ensure sourcing decisions meet functional, technical, and compliance requirements.

 

Governance, Contracts & Compliance

  • Develop Contract draft, collaborate with Vendors, Business team, Legal and finance, negotiate, and finalize contracts, MSAs, SLAs, and amendments.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor contract compliance and drive adherence to negotiated terms and conditions.

 

Data, Analytics & Reporting

  • Conduct detailed spend analysis to identify trends, risks, and sourcing opportunities.
  • Track and report sourcing KPIs such as cost savings, cost avoidance, supplier performance, and contract compliance.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
  • Minimum 3+years of core experience in Strategic Sourcing and 5+ years in procurement, with a focus on category management.
  • Proven track record of leading complex sourcing initiatives and delivering significant cost savings.
  • Exposure to ESG, sustainability sourcing, or responsible procurement initiatives.
  • Exposure in training to internal and external stakeholders, and team members.
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience managing high-value and high-risk spend.
  • Experience working with global suppliers and cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in procurement ERP (preferably -Oracle)

 

Certifications: Certification in procurement or supply chain management (CPSM, CPSCM, CPP) and Six Sigma.
