Data and Analytics Team (DnAI) in PGC focuses on creating intelligent products within Providence and provides unique opportunities in Product Development, Product Design, Data Engineering, Operations, Data Science, BI Reporting and Data Analytics on cloud stack. We are a group of professionals who work towards empowering stakeholders with insights that improve patient and caregiver experience.

At DnAI team, the discipline of Technical Program Manager is built around defining a clear, Program Management strategy and creating and managing a healthy roadmap, requiring team to work at the intersection of business, market and sector needs, technology and data analytics, customer and user expectations/ desires.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Technical Program Manager, you will be joining a multi-faceted team to:
- Own the end-to-end delivery of the data ecosystem, as the primary orchestrator of the migration.
- Draw Roadmap by defining and driving multi-phase execution strategy, from initial workload assessment, dependency management to final production cutover.
- Lead deep-dive sessions to design and architect, perform in-depth data analysis, manage/track ADO board to meet project outcome
- Perform Performance & Cost Optimization, ensuring the environment is optimized for both performance (query latency) and cost-efficiency (like Snowflake credit consumption).
- Risk & Issue Management - Identify and mitigate technical blockers, such as function incompatibilities or data parity issues, before they impact the timeline.
- Ensure there is Data integrity & e2e validation meets requirement with rigorous testing performed and there is data accuracy & parity between the source and target systems.
- Act as the central point of contact for the Engineering, and Business teams to ensure the project outcome meets all functional and non-functional requirements.
- Formulate key metrics to track success or prioritize features. Show an ever-learning mindset to strengthen understanding of global health care systems. Participate and contribute to industry learning and stay up to date with latest trends and findings.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a high-caliber Principal Technical Program Manager who thrives at the intersection of complex engineering and strategic execution. You are a "force multiplier" who builds trust through technical credibility and can cut through the ambiguity of large-scale cloud transitions.
- You have 10+ years of Technical Program Manager experience, with a proven track record of leading complex Enterprise level, multi dependency driven projects (such as critical cloud platform / database migrations)
- You possess fair architectural knowledge of Dedicated SQL Pools, Databricks and Snowflake (Virtual Warehouses, Snowpipe, RBAC).
- You are familiar with Cloud Computing and DevOps principles like CI/CD
- You understand the nuances of converting T-SQL objects and distribution styles into Snowflake-native micro-partitioning and clustering keys.
- You are skilled at mapping intricate data lineages across such as Azure Data Factory, Spark jobs, and downstream consumers like Power BI.
- You can translate deep technical risks into actionable insights for executive leadership while keeping cross-functional engineering teams aligned.
- Relevant education and/or experience working on data /analytic products and solutions tied to Healthcare preferably
- Gains understanding of the existing systems in Providence and puts the spotlight on gaps and opportunities for tech-infused administrative burden reduction and operational efficiencies
- You can effectively identify potential technical bottlenecks or system failures before they impact the project outcome.
- Gains understanding of industry best practices and finds opportunities to apply them within the Providence Healthcare Intelligence landscape to deliver best-in-class services to customers.
- Impressive verbal communication and presentation skills and at ease with business as well as technical audiences.
- Ability to articulating clear and concise product related documentation as well as general business communications
Strongly preferred:
Familiarity or experience in any or all of the following areas: Program Roadmap Development, Requirements Elicitation, User Research, Analysis and Journey Mapping, Business Case Development, Stakeholder Management, Dependency management, Technical Program Specs Authoring, Data Analysis
Intermediate to Expert knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint, T-SQL
