Manager - Oracle Cloud ERP, Enterprise Business Applications

How is this team contributing to vision of Providence?

EBA team is responsible to provide Oracle ERP Implementation Support across HCM, SCM & Finance domains. We cater to Functional, technical, Infrastructure & App Security requirements for end-end Oracle Cloud ERP Implementation. 

What will you be responsible for?

  • Successfully managing the delivery/deployments of Oracle SaaS/ Fusion Applications projects in the Oracle SCM, FIN & HCM domains.
  • Hire right talent, build required competencies, and deliver projects/rollouts in Oracle SCM, FIN & HCM domains..
  • Well verse of Change & release management and other methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience as a senior resource leading systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, test strategy, solution architecture, release management, application maintenane and enhancement.
  • Working with the customer to confirm scope and goals, objectives and business justification, secure resources (people and budget) and re-iterate the mandate for projects.
  • Leading, monitoring and maintaining progress of project plans to ensure delivery of the key stages and goals within the agreed constraints of time, cost and quality.
  • Managing customer expectations and be able to closely monitor for scope creep.
  • Managing the agreed scope of the project to ensure that Change Requests are clearly called out, agreed, and impacted against timeline
  • Assist the customer project manager with monitoring tasks and progress of client specific activities.
  • Controlling and reporting progress to the Stakeholders and internally within the organization and escalating any issues, as appropriate, in a timely manner. Initiating corrective action where necessary to keep the project on track.
  • Continually assessing potential risks and issues maintaining risk and issue logs, and contingency plans.
  • Close monitoring and reporting on project budget.
  • Playing a lead role in defining an effective communication strategy for the project, including communicating and consulting with key stakeholders.
  • Identify inter-dependencies between the various stakeholder groups to ensure all are aligned and risks are identified, mitigated, and communicated.
  • Ensuring appropriately skilled resources are delivering the project and managing the availability and performance of those consultants.
  • Travel to client sites as required

What would your day look like?

  • Collaborate with Implementation Partner and IS teams across Providence and drive ERP implementations and rollouts and manage release and operations

Who are we looking for?

  • 10 to 15 yrs. of Experience in Oracle Cloud ERP Project implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of implemention/support Oracle Cloud ERP projects end to end.
  • Overall strong Project Management capabilities and proven experience in delivering complex Oracle Applications projects using Oracle OUM methods and agile methodologies.
  • Exposure to digital technologies like test & process automation, chat bots, AL/ML is desired.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Should be a thought leader and mentor the team and be able to provide recommendations and solutions to the leadership group
  • Microsoft Project planning experience is desired.

  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills
  • Excellent organization, documentation and communication skills
  • Strong interest in developing internal Capability solutions and methodologies.
