We are looking for an experienced Learning Instruction Designer to join our team to lead the ID team as well as and design impactful, engaging, and effective learning experiences. The ideal candidate will have exposure to globally used instructional design and visual design tools and practices, leverage instructional design principles and methodologies as well as AI/learning tech to create educational content that addresses the specific needs of learners, while aligning with organizational goals. As a Lead Instruction Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the learning experience, driving learner engagement, and ensuring knowledge retention through well-structured and relevant training initiatives.

What will you be responsible for?

The Instructional Designer will analyze learning needs, define clear objectives for the course or program, develop engaging visual aids and multi modal training content based on sound pedagogical principles (such as Bloom’s Taxonomy), assess learner performance through various methods like quizzes or simulations, and evaluate the overall effectiveness of the learning experience. The ID will also be tech savvy in using latest AI enabled tech platforms and tools in HR.

Instructional Design:

  • Analyze learning needs and performance gaps to develop customized solutions for all projects that are assigned to the team and build comprehensive learning objectives, course outlines, assessments, and evaluation strategies.
  • Design and develop high impact learning solutions, including online courses, instructor-led training materials, e-learning modules, and multimedia resources using methodologies like ADDIE, SAM.

Content Creation:

  • Produce high-quality text-based content, graphics, simulations, quizzes, and videos.
  • Own learning campaign collaterals and storytelling and tone of learning marketing materials in accordance to PGC branding guidelines.
  • Collaborate with SME and stakeholders to ensure accuracy, relevancy, and alignment.
  • Create, enable and curate content library for PGC

Digital Learning Development:

  • Use authoring tools (such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar tools) to build interactive, visually appealing digital learning content and supporting static visual material like fliers, handouts, etc.
  • Ensure e-learning content is accessible, responsive, and compatible with various devices and our Learning Management System (Success Factors LMS).
  • Make data-driven decisions for course updates, enhancements, and future content development.

Who we are looking for?

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field and Instructional Design certification.
  • 8-10 years’ experience in ID with atleast 1 year experience in corporate communications/marketing/sales teams.
  • Experience in rapid learning development and advanced graphic, video, and audio creation.
  • Experience in trending learning technologies and tools, including but not limited to: Storyline, Camtasia, Audacity, Captivate, Go Animate, Photoshop.
  • Experience working with enterprise HCM systems, learning management systems, learning experience platforms and talent and learning technology ecosystems globally.
  • Successful track record of working effectively with subject matter experts, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders from a wide variety of disciplines.
  • Strong writing, editing and proof-reading skills in English
