Job Description: 

We are seeking an experienced Multi-Cloud Architect with healthcare expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, cloud consulting, and enterprise architecture, with specific experience in the healthcare industry. This role involves leading strategy and roadmap development for enterprise clients, as well as pre and post-sales technical support across multiple cloud platforms. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead enterprise client engagements, building strategy and roadmap for multi-cloud adoption. 

  • Drive the most important and complex future domain planning activities and projects. 

  • Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks and approaches for application domains. 

  • Implement, deploy, and manage IaaS and PaaS technologies across multiple cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP). 

  • Create SOW/BOM/Architecture design documents based on customer requirements. 

  • Provide proactive guidance on creating, deploying, and managing VMs through images or ARM templates. 

  • Integrate network-specific products and services to improve ecosystem. 

  • Design around DevOps/Continuous Integration models and implement robust security measures. 

  • Automate operational tasks leveraging scripting and cloud automation tools. 

  • Enable high availability and disaster recovery for workloads running in multi-cloud environments. 

  • Understand and manage cloud cost/billing propositions and open-source technologies for native cloud applications. 

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH) in cloud implementations. 

  • Provide expertise in healthcare data security, privacy, and interoperability. 

  • Leverage knowledge of healthcare IT systems, including Electronic Health Records (EHR), Health Information Exchanges (HIE), and other healthcare applications. 

  • Collaborate with healthcare stakeholders to understand their unique needs and provide tailored cloud solutions. 

Must-Have Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 15+ years of IT experience  

  • Experience working as a Cloud Architect in the healthcare domain. 

  • 6+ years of experience as an Architect/Pre/Post Tech Support. 

  • 5+ years of public cloud experience. 

  • Strong client-facing cloud consulting experience. 

  • Strong leadership skills in a customer-facing environment. 

  • Strong understanding of multiple public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP). 

  • Azure and/or AWS Architect certification required. 

  • Exposure to clinical systems, payer systems, patient engagement platforms, or health analytics. 

  • Understanding of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH). 

  • Understanding of healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7, DICOM, CDA). 

 

 

Technical Requirements: 

  • Cloud storage best practices, scripting, and storage security. 

  • Solid understanding of virtual machines and imaging best practices. 

  • Strong understanding of cloud networking, including virtual network designing. 

  • Understanding of load balancing, geo-redundancy, CDN, and VPN technologies. 

  • Strong understanding of security controls of cloud (network security, endpoint security, IAM). 

  • Good understanding of microservices architecture (Kubernetes). 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Familiarity with architecture tools (Visio/PPT, etc.). 

Plus Points: 

  • TOGAF or any other architect certification is a plus.
