Principal Cybersecurity Product Engineer
Cybersecurity at Providence is responsible for appropriately protecting all information relating to its caregivers and affiliates, as well as protecting its confidential business information (including information relating to its caregivers, affiliates, and patients)
What will you be responsible for?
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing full stack applications using .NET Core, React.js, NoSQL and MS SQL Server.
- Architect and deliver cloud-native solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and cost optimization.
- Drive engineering excellence through Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) practices, ensuring high-quality, well-tested, and maintainable code.
- Lead the architecture and development of advanced AI systems, driving initiatives in Generative AI, Agentic AI, and intelligent automation across the enterprise.
- Define and implement the AI architecture strategy, including LLM orchestration, RAG frameworks, tool integration, and MCP Server–based extensibility for modular, context-aware AI systems.
- Design and manage MCP Server configurations to enable secure, multi-agent interactions, data enrichment, and context synchronization across internal and external systems.
- Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to build end-to-end AI pipelines—from data ingestion and model training to deployment, inference, and continuous evaluation.
- Architect LLM-based systems with prompt orchestration, tool/plugin management, and agent collaboration capabilities.
- Ensure all AI solutions adhere to responsible AI, data security, and governance best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering expertise in AI solution design, performance tuning, and scalability.
- Drive the adoption of modern experimentation and lifecycle management practices to maintain production-grade AI systems.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate high-level objectives into actionable AI-driven solutions.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies in AI orchestration frameworks, MCP, LangChain, and Semantic Kernel, ensuring strategic alignment with enterprise innovation goals.
- Maintain familiarity with modern full-stack technologies (.NET Core, React.js, Azure, MS SQL) to ensure seamless integration of AI components into broader platforms.
- Exposure to Cyber Security domain and thoughts around how to implement AI to solve Cyber user cases will be a big plus.
Who are we looking for?
- 10+ years of overall experience in software engineering & cloud native solution architecture, with a strong focus on AI systems, LLMs, and intelligent automation in the current & recent roles.
- Deep expertise in Generative AI, LLM orchestration, Agentic AI, MCP Server–based integrations, and vector database architectures.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying AI workloads on Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, or similar cloud AI environments.
- Strong knowledge of AI tool orchestration, plugin architecture, and secure context propagation using MCP or similar frameworks.
- Understanding of data governance, responsible AI, and cybersecurity principles in AI solutioning.
- Familiarity with Python, Azure AI Services, LangChain, or equivalent for AI development.
- Exposure to full stack ecosystems (.NET Core, React.js, MS SQL) and ability to guide AI integration within enterprise or web applications.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence AI strategy, and align architectural design with long-term business vision.
