We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Data Scientist with a Bachelors/Masters/PhD in a quantitative field to join our Marketing Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, and marketing measurement, with experience in working with large-scale marketing datasets.

As a Principal Data Scientist in Marketing, you will:

  • Contribute to defining the AI/ML vision for marketing at Providence India. Lead and design models like Propensity models, Lead Scoring, Next Best Action, and Response models for marketing performance and optimization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop models that inform marketing strategies, audience targeting, and channel prioritization. Engage in product features for marketing technologies.
  • Develop machine learning models alongside business stakeholders in Marketing, Strategy, and Digital to solve complex business problems.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams like product managers and data engineers to present actionable insights.
  • Design experiments to validate marketing models and continuously refine them for effectiveness.
  • Utilize advanced MLOps tools (e.g., Databricks, Azure) to deploy marketing models at scale.
  • Stay current with marketing trends and developments in AI/ML to ensure innovative solutions.

Who are we looking for?

  • 12+ years of experience in Data Science, preferably in Marketing Analytics, with a PhD in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics).
  • Expertise in marketing models, large-scale data analysis, and machine learning (Python or R).
  • Expertise in AI, ML, DL, GenAI, NLP, LLM models
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical marketing stakeholders.
  • A marketing or Martech background is highly desirable.
