Principal Analyst - Oracle Cloud Finance (GL, AP, PPM, FA, CM, Lease Accounting)

 

As a Principal Analyst – Oracle Cloud Finance you will be responsible for analyzing business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Your specialization will be focused on solution design, implementation, leading global rollouts & support, M&A initiatives ensuring high quality, integrated solutions, and continuous innovation through use to test and process automation. 

 

What would your day look like?

  • Act as domain expert providing best-practice guidance on Record to Report and Source to Pay processes.
  • Gather requirements, do fit-gap analysis, Impact analysis and design solutions
  • Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams namely, technical, business and management teams
  • Draft and review the functional specification documents.
  • Help investigate and resolve system functional and technical errors and provide solutions which may include systems enhancements or new procedures.
  • Identify and analyze operational and systems issues and opportunities and produce effective solutions
  • Lead small teams to understand, design, enhance, confirm, and deliver objectives of the engagement
  • Task allocation across teams and team members. Track against activity or milestone completion and escalate variance to project plan
  • Project status reporting. Understand changes necessary to balance execution efficiency with risk mitigation, value delivery, cost, quality, and benefits

Who are we looking for?

  • 10+ Yrs. of Oracle implementation experience with a working experience of 2 Oracle ERP Cloud Finance project lifecycles – from scoping and analysis, design and testing and through to post go live support
  • Oracle Cloud Finance experience in AP, FA, GL, AR, Lease Accounting with good understanding of integration with other finance and supply chain modules
  • Ability to demonstrate Oracle Cloud Finance features and functionalities to business users
  • Technical experience of integration with upstream systems like Epic, Kyriba, Banks (Lockbox), EPM, DRM or previous experience with inbound/outbound integrations for GL, AR invoices/Payments, Project Accounting. Lockbox
  • Experience with designing solution, doing fit gap analysis, application configuration, mass allocations, drafting and reviewing TFS documents, SIT and UAT.
  • Awareness and understanding of the capabilities across a wide range of Oracle applications and platform components, including ERP, EPM, SCM, HCM, Analytics, Integration
  • Technical experience of integration with downstream reporting systems
  • Experience in Consulting and exposure to digital transformation engagements is preferable. Experience in Health Care Industry will be a plus.
  • Possess good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of business processes and associated technology
  • Be able to plan and deliver the scope and deliverables of the team
  • Bachelor's/Master’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
