Role OverviewThe Principal Program Manager will lead strategic, cross-functional programs that drive innovation and operational excellence across Data Engineering initiatives, while ensuring alignment with enterprise infrastructure and cybersecurity standards. This role requires deep program management expertise, strong technical acumen, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across engineering and business teams.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Leadership:Plan, organize, and manage multiple programs ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and objectives.Develop and maintain program roadmaps aligned with organizational priorities.Anticipate risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery.Drive execution across diverse teams, resolving issues and managing dependencies.Define KPIs and success metrics for programs.Ensure continuous improvement through feedback loops and process optimization.Effectively lead all scrum ceremonies.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with Data Engineering, Security, and Infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions.Foster collaboration across stakeholders, vendors, and leadership teams.Change & Conflict Management:Apply organizational change management methodologies to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies.Proactively manage and resolve conflicts within teams and across stakeholders to maintain program momentum.Communication & Stakeholder Engagement:Develop and execute communication strategies tailored to diverse audiences.Influence and align senior leaders, engineering managers, and business stakeholders.Provide program status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and executive leadership in a clear and concise manner.Required Skills and Experience10+ years experience in IT, with min. 5+ years in program/project management within engineering teams.Proven track record of managing programs involving Data Engineering. Exposure to Enterprise Security/Infrastructure domains.Experience working in a global setup and managing stakeholders and engineering teams across India and US teams.Ability to lead through influence in a matrixed organization.Proficient in Agile methodologies with strong expertise in Scrum practices.Exceptional verbal and written communication for stakeholder engagement and executive reporting.Understanding of Cloud platforms and Data Engineering practices.Expertise in program governance, risk management, and change management.
