Role: Senior ServiceNow Developer (Platform Integrations & Workflow Data Fabric)
 
 
Job Overview
 
We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer with 6 to 12 years of experience to lead our integration and data architecture initiatives. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize complex enterprise integrations using ServiceNow’s advanced Workflow Data Fabric. You will ensure seamless, real-time data connectivity, orchestrate automated workflows across multi-platform ecosystems, and unify disparate data sources into a cohesive operational framework.
 
 

 
Key Responsibilities
 
 
Workflow Data Fabric & Architecture
 
  • Unify Data: Design data architectures using ServiceNow's Workflow Data Fabric.
  • Orchestrate Workflows: Connect multi-system enterprise workflows seamlessly without data silos.
  • Map Data: Build virtual data connections to access external systems without replication.
  • Optimize Performance: Ensure high-speed, scalable data ingestion and real-time processing.
     
 
Platform Integrations
 
  • Build Endpoints: Develop secure, bidirectional REST/SOAP web services.
  • Deploy Spokes: Configure custom IntegrationHub spokes and automated data streams.
  • Manage Mid Servers: Architect and maintain complex Mid Server cluster environments.
  • Transform Schemas: Create advanced robust transform maps and ETL definitions.
     
 
Platform Development & Governance
 
  • Write Scripts: Code advanced Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Script Includes.
  • Design Flows: Author enterprise-grade automated workflows in Flow Designer.
  • Secure Assets: Implement strict OAuth, mutual authentication, and API security policies.
  • Monitor Pipelines: Build dashboards to track integration health and transaction logs.
     
 

 
Required Technical Skills
 
  • Data Fabric Tools: Remote Tables, Data Stream Actions, IntegrationHub ETL.
  • Integration Tech: REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, Webhooks, JDBC, Kafka/MQ.
  • ServiceNow Core: Flow Designer, Studio, Business Rules, Script Includes, Glide API.
  • Languages: Advanced JavaScript, JSON, XML, PowerShell, or Python.
  • Security Protocols: OAuth 2.0, SAML, TLS/SSL, API Keys.
     
 

 
Experience & Qualifications
 
  • Experience: 6 to 12 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
  • Integration Expertise: Proven track record of delivering 5+ enterprise-scale integrations.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
  • Certifications: Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD).
  • Advanced Certifications: Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in IntegrationHub is highly preferred.
