How is this team contributing to vision of Providence?

As a Principal Service Engineer, you will:

  • Act as a think tank for leadership, establishing foundational strategies for business expansion
  • Collaborate with senior business leaders to drive high-impact, cross-functional initiatives and manage change effectively
  • Tackle ambiguous, abstract problems, identify business opportunities, assess feasibility, and develop business cases and roadmaps
  • Conduct primary and secondary market research to provide valuable market intelligence that informs strategy
  • Manage end-to-end program delivery, from problem scoping to execution
  • Provide mentorship and guidance, contributing to practice development
  • Lead structured media interactions as needed

 

What will you be responsible for?

  • Governance of the relationships between ServiceNow and related applications, legacy systems, component libraries, content repositories and supporting databases.
  • Preparing and running functional design workshops, creating design specifications based on out-of-the-box functionality and customer requirements.
  • Providing creative solutions to resolve business problems, technology issues, process, and people challenge.
  • Hands-on technical delivery of the ServiceNow technical solutions.
  • Research systems and/or programs to determine causes of failure or poor operational performance; then define, test, and implement detailed solutions

What would your week look like?

  • 5+ years’ experience in technical solution design and implementation of the ServiceNow application.
  • Proven management / influencing abilities.
  • Ability to produce documentation at various levels including technical and customer facing.
  • Expertise and experience with ServiceNow or an equivalent ITSM toolset are essential.
  • ServiceNow experience in the areas of ITSM, ITBM, ITOM products are highly desirable.
  • ServiceNow Certifications in all areas are highly desirable.
  • Experience in multiple application architectures and supporting technologies.
  • Web service proficiency (REST, SOAP) as well as XML and JSON knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
