Principal Software Engineer

What will you be responsible for?
As a Sitecore Full Stack Engineer – Principal, you will own end-to-end technical architecture and hands-on development for Sitecore-based platforms. You will work closely with clients, Technical Product Owners, stakeholders, and PGC leadership to translate ideas into production-ready solutions, while remaining deeply involved in design, development, integrations, and code reviews.
You will also be responsible for defining and driving the technical roadmap, aligning near-term delivery with long-term platform evolution. As a senior individual contributor, you will act as a technical enabler for the wider team, establishing architectural standards, ensuring data and platform governance, and driving AI-first engineering practices that improve scalability, efficiency, and sustainability.
What would your week look like?
- Own end-to-end architecture and hands-on development using Sitecore XP/XM Cloud, C#, ASP.NET, GraphQL and SQL.
- Design, develop, and review complex backend services, APIs, and integrations.
- Lead full stack development using React / Angular / Next.js integrated with Sitecore.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, stakeholders, and leadership on technical execution.
- Define architecture standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Drive and review AI-first implementations and AI-enabled workflows.
- Resolve complex technical issues, risks, and production challenges.
- Ensure solutions meet performance, security, scalability, and availability requirements.
- Enable and unblock teams through hands-on technical leadership.
Who we are looking for?
- 10–13 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in Sitecore XP/XM Cloud (must have).
- Proven full stack experience with C#, ASP.NET, GraphQL ,Web/API development.
- Strong frontend experience with React, Angular, or Next.js.
- Deep experience with Azure Cloud services and deployments.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and data modeling.
- Hands-on experience driving AI-first architecture and AI initiatives (must have).
- Ability to influence technical direction without people-management responsibility.
- Strong problem-solving and system-design skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration capabilities.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
- Experience addressing non-functional requirements such as resiliency, and observability.
- Experience working on Healthcare projects with understanding of its compliance requirements.
