Job Description – Automation Analyst (2–3 Years Experience)

Shift: 2 PM – 11 PM IST (Work From Office – 5 Days)
Location: Hyderabad

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Automation Analyst with 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in developing small to medium-scale automations for finance and accounting teams. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise across VBA, Power Automate, Python, and exposure to Power Query and Power BI. This role requires a blend of technical problem‑solving, process understanding, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable automation solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build, test, and deploy automation solutions using VBA, Power Automate, and Python for recurring finance and accounting processes.
  • Analyze manual workflows, identify automation opportunities, and design efficient, scalable solutions.
  • Develop data transformations using Power Query and create structured datasets for reporting.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to understand requirements, document process flows, and implement targeted automation.
  • Create dashboards or visuals in Power BI when required to present automated output or insights.
  • Maintain and enhance existing automation solutions; troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth execution.
  • Follow internal governance, documentation, and change management processes for automation deployment.
  • Ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks and support business teams during US shift timings (2–11 PM IST).

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in automation development.
  • Proficiency in VBA, Power Automate (Cloud/Desktop), and Python scripting.
  • Working knowledge of Power Query and Power BI.
  • Experience implementing small/medium-scale automations specifically for finance teams (mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes (preferred).
  • Ability to work with large datasets, Excel models, and workflow automation tools.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in  Finance, or related fields, B.E. not mandatory.
  • Exposure to automation lifecycle, testing methodologies, and documentation best practices.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in global organizations.

Work Environment

  • Shift: 2 PM–11 PM IST to support US teams.
  • Location: Hyderabad (Work From Office, Monday–Friday).
