 ServiceNow QA Engineer (ATF)
Experience: 3–5 Years

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ServiceNow QA Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in testing ServiceNow applications, particularly within ITSM, ITAM, and GRC modules. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Automated Test Framework (ATF), manual and automated testing methodologies, defect management, and ServiceNow platform validation.
The candidate will work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality ServiceNow implementations and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test cases for ServiceNow applications and integrations.
Build and maintain automated test suites using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and UAT testing.
Validate ServiceNow implementations across:

ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request)
ITAM (Asset Management, CMDB)
GRC (Policy & Compliance, Risk Management, Audit)


Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
Participate in sprint ceremonies and Agile QA activities.
Validate workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrations.
Ensure data integrity and platform stability during releases.
Prepare test execution reports and quality metrics.
Support release validation and post-production sanity testing.


Required Skills
Mandatory Skills

3–5 years of QA/testing experience in ServiceNow platform.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ATF (Automated Test Framework).
Strong understanding of:

ITSM modules
ITAM processes and CMDB
GRC applications


Experience in writing manual and automated test cases.
Knowledge of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies.
Familiarity with ServiceNow workflows, forms, catalogs, reports, and integrations.
Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
Good understanding of JavaScript basics in ServiceNow context.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.


Preferred Skills

ServiceNow CSA certification.
CAD or CIS certifications in ITSM / ITAM / GRC are an added advantage.
Experience with API testing and integration validation.
Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Exposure to Selenium or other automation tools is a plus.


Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Nice-to-Have

Experience in telecom, banking, healthcare, or enterprise IT environments.
