ServiceNow QA Engineer (ATF – ITAM, HRSD & HCLS)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ServiceNow QA Engineer with strong expertise in Automated Test Framework (ATF) and experience in ITAM, HRSD, and HCLS modules. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in manual and automated testing within the ServiceNow platform and be capable of ensuring high-quality releases across enterprise workflows and integrations.

The candidate will work closely with development teams, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to validate ServiceNow implementations and enhancements in Agile environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for ServiceNow applications.
  • Build and maintain automated test suites using ServiceNow ATF.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and UAT testing.
  • Validate ServiceNow implementations and enhancements related to:
    • ITAM – Asset Management, HAM/SAM, CMDB
    • HRSD – HR Case Management, Employee Center, Lifecycle Events
    • HCLS – Healthcare & Life Sciences workflows/applications
  • Validate workflows, catalog items, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with developers and business teams to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Support release testing, upgrade validation, and post-production sanity testing.
  • Prepare QA documentation, test reports, and execution summaries.
  • Ensure data accuracy and platform stability across releases.

Required Skills

Mandatory Skills

  • 3–5 years of experience in ServiceNow QA/testing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow ATF (Automated Test Framework).
  • Good understanding of:
    • ITAM
    • HRSD
    • HCLS / Healthcare domain workflows
  • Experience in manual and automation testing within ServiceNow platform.
  • Knowledge of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow forms, workflows, service catalog, integrations, and reporting.
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript in ServiceNow environment.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills

  • ServiceNow CSA certification preferred.
  • CIS certifications in ITAM or HRSD are an added advantage.
  • Experience in API and integration testing.
  • Exposure to Selenium or other automation tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards is beneficial.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
