What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible to develop effective and high-quality healthcare program integrity analytics that meet business requirements. Technical abilities include following Python/R coding best practices, performance tuning, unit testing and production support.
What would your day look like?
- Performs advanced statistical analyses to identify patterns and trends and opportunity assessments to assist in delivering optimal healthcare management and decision making.
- Designs data visualizations and determines the best way to present data in a clear understandable format using reports, drilldowns, tables, gauges, graphs, charts, and other intuitive graphical add-ons.
- Experience working with Gen-AI, expertise in fine-tuning transformer-based models / LLMs- GPT, Llama, PaLM, BERT and RAG models.
- Fine-tuning of Large Language Models (GPT/ PaLM/ Llama) to meet specific business requirements.
- Develop and implement machine learning models using a variety of techniques (supervised and unsupervised learning models including NLP, Deep learning Models, and Predictive Analytics)
- Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting employees with comprehensive policies and processes.
- Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining, and engineering as well as modelling, visualization, and communication deliverables.
- Prepares and delivers results to leadership with analytic insights, interpretations, and recommendations.
- Using healthcare data to achieve administrative needs and goals.
- Understanding data storage and data sharing methods.
- Understanding healthcare business operations.
- Utilizing different data sources for analyses.
- Developing reports and presentations.
- Communicating analytic insights to management.
Who are we looking for?
- 3-5 yrs. of professional work experience preferable in management consulting or high growth start-ups preferably in healthcare.
- 3+ years of experience in a data analytical role.
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, healthcare administration, or related field.
- Experience in Python Libraries like NumPy, Scikit learn, Open CV
- Advanced expertise in algorithms, data analytics
- Experience with data visualization tools.
- Solid knowledge and experience of supervised, unsupervised machine learning algorithms. For e.g (but not limited to) : linear regressions, bayesian regressions, multi objective optimization techniques, classifiers, cluster analysis, dimension reduction etc.
- Understanding of techniques like Market Mix Modelling, Price Elasticity models, Sales Promo Uplift Modelling, Build the Optimization & Simulation for Marketing scenario in Python/R
- Good knowledge of statistics for e.g : statistical tests & distributions
- Experience in Data analysis for e.g : data cleansing, standardization and data preparation for the machine learning use cases
- Expertise with visualization tools For e.g : Power BI,Excel
- Knowledge of data management applications.
- Analytical mindset with good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
