POSITION INFORMATION:

Title: Senior Legal Analyst, Providence Global Center LLP

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India

Reports to: Executive Director PGC,   Hyderabad

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Providence Global Center (“PGC”) is seeking an experienced a detail-oriented and proactive legal professional to join our team in Hyderabad. Working directly as part of the Department of Legal Affairs (DLA) in the US, and under the supervision of the lead attorney at PGC, this position will provide shared legal services as well as project coordination support to DLA and PGC. The ideal candidate shall be capable of working independently, handling stakeholder and communications, and maintaining high standards of turnaround time (TAT).

Key Functions and Responsibilities:

The Senior Legal Analyst would be responsible for providing the shared legal services as well as project coordination support to DLA and PGC.

 

  • Contract Review and Risk Assessment:
  • Review, analyze, and negotiate supplier contracts, MSAs, Statements of Work (SOWs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and other commercial agreements.Identify potential legal, regulatory, operational, and financial risks within contractual terms and propose effective mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of contractual terms, including liability, indemnity, termination, governing law, and dispute resolution provisions.
  • Ensure contracts are aligned with company policies, risk appetite, and long-term strategic interests.
  • Collaborate with business, procurement, finance, and cross-functional teams to support contract negotiations.
  • Escalate high-risk provisions and provide strategic recommendations to stakeholders

 

  • Process Improvement & Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of contract reviews, redlines, and negotiated terms.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of contract templates, checklists, and best practices.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
  • Compile, analyze, and interpret legal data and metrics to support informed decision-making within the legal department. Responsibilities include generating regular and ad-hoc reports for leadership, maintaining dashboards that track key performance indicators, and providing insights on matter status, contract lifecycle, and outside counsel activities. Utilize advanced tools reporting platforms to present complex information in a clear and actionable manner, ensuring accuracy and relevance for strategic planning and compliance monitoring.Provide Office 365 support:

Provide comprehensive support for Office 365 applications to enhance the efficiency of legal operations. This includes creating and formatting legal documents, presentations, and reports using Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; assisting attorneys and team members with document collaboration and sharing; and leveraging advanced features for data analysis and visualization. Ensure the secure management of sensitive legal information within Office 365 and offer guidance on best practices for utilizing these tools to streamline workflows and improve productivity across the legal department.

  • Automation
    • Work closely with Legal Ops team and identify opportunities for process improvement within DLA and PGC and create macros and tools

 

  • Key Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial law, and corporate governance.
    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify legal and commercial risks.
    • Ability to work independently while managing multiple contract reviews within tight timelines.
    • Proficiency in using contract management tools and MS Office Suite.
    • Liaise effectively with the U.S. legal department and external counsel to facilitate seamless coordination, information exchange, and resolution of legal matters.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized institution, with strong technical acumen
  •  Minimum 3-6   years of experience in contract review, drafting, and negotiation, preferably in a multinational or corporate legal environment.
  • Familiarity with US legal principles and contract practices; prior experience supporting US legal teams is highly desirable
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight timelines.
  • Strong project coordination and organizing skills
  • Exposure and working knowledge of legal tools and repositories
