Key Functions and Responsibilities:

The Senior Legal Analyst would be responsible for providing the shared legal services as well as project coordination support to DLA and PGC.

  • Analytics and Reporting
  • Compile, analyze, and interpret legal data and metrics to aid decision-making within the legal department.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for DLA.
  • Maintain dashboards tracking key performance indicators.
  • Provide insights on matter status, contract lifecycle, and outside counsel activities.
  • Use advanced reporting tools, i.e, Legal Tracker, iManage, ServiceNow Intake process to present complex information clearly and accurately for strategic planning and compliance monitoring.
  • Process Improvement & Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of contract reviews, redlines, and negotiated terms.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of contract templates, checklists, and best practices.

 

  • Office 365 Support for Legal Operations

 

  • Provide end-to-end support for Office 365 tools to improve legal workflows.
  • Create and format legal documents, presentations, and reports using Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Assist attorneys and team members with document collaboration and secure sharing.
  • Leverage advanced features for data analysis and visualization.

 

  • Ensure secure handling of sensitive legal information within Office 365.
    • Offer guidance on best practices to streamline processes and boost productivity across the legal department.

 

  • Automation
    • Work closely with Legal Ops team and identify opportunities for process improvement within DLA and PGC and create macros and tools.

Expert in Power BI and analyzing and displaying data or creating presentations.

 

  • Contract Management:
  • Draft, review and manage contracts related to healthcare providers, payors, vendors and clinical trials within US healthcare laws and regulations.
  • Conduct legal research on healthcare laws, US Federal and State regulations, industry best practices to offer advisory to teams.
  • Support the team in drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents for suppliers and vendors, including NDAs, MOUs, MSAs, SOWs, and IT/technology-related agreements.
  • Independently draft and refine standard legal clauses with minimal supervision.
  • Identify and escalate contractual risks, inconsistencies, or deviations, and propose appropriate mitigation or improvement measures.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for contract-related inquiries from internal stakeholders, as needed.
  • Support managers in executing process enhancements, policy updates, and best practice initiatives.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge-building by maintaining templates, document repositories, guidelines, and training materials.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (L.L.B) from a recognized institution, with strong technical acumen.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a professional services or legal support environment.
  • Familiarity with document management systems and workflow tools.
  • Exposure and working knowledge of legal tools and repositories.
  • Self-driven and proactive with ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic growth-mode environment.
  • Knowledge and experience in US healthcare laws in an added advantage.
