Senior Manager - ERP Applications
How is this team contributing to vision of Providence?
EBA team is responsible to provide Oracle ERP Implementation Support across Finance, SCM and HCM domains. We cater to Functional, technical, Infrastructure & App Security requirements for end-end Oracle Cloud ERP Implementation, Rollouts, Enhancements & Maintenance.
What would your day look like?
- Collaborate with Implementation Partner and IS teams across Providence and drive ERP implementations and other rollouts and manage release and operations.
Who are we looking for?
- 10 to 15 yrs. of Experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Cloud Technology (Integrations, Reports) with experience on managing multi cloud environment including GCP, Azure and Dell Boomi Projects and operations.
- Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of OCI Gen2, GCP PaaS administrators, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the team's success.
- OCI & Oracle PaaS Administration: Oversee the management and maintenance of the OCI & GCP PaaS environments, including services like Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and related components. And on OCI - OIC, Compute, Database, VCN, Block Volumes services. Experience on OCI is a must,
- Integration with DevOps: Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and scaling of applications and services on the GCP PaaS platform.
- Platform Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the GCP PaaS platform for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Preferred some experience on GCP PaaS Administration and maintenance of the GCP PaaS environments, including services like Google App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and related components. GCP experience is preferred not mandatory.
- Dell Boomi Administration: Oversee the management and maintenance of the Dell Boomi PaaS environment, including user accounts, connectors, integration processes, and environment configurations.
- Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain robust security measures, access controls, and compliance standards within the PaaS environment across multiple platforms like Oracle. Azure and GCP.
- Monitoring and Alerts: Set up and oversee monitoring solutions, configure alerts, and proactively identify and address infrastructure and application issues.
- Documentation: Ensure the maintenance of comprehensive documentation of configurations, procedures, and best practices related to the GCP PaaS environment.
- Automation: Drive the development of automation scripts and workflows to streamline routine tasks, enhance operational efficiency, and reduce manual intervention.
- Troubleshooting: Act as a point of escalation for complex infrastructure and application-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruptions.
- Exposure to digital technologies like test & process automation, chat bots, AL/ML is desired.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
- Should be a thought leader and mentor the team and be able to provide recommendations and solutions to the leadership group.
- Microsoft Project planning experience is desired.

What will you be responsible for?
- Successfully managing the delivery/deployments of Oracle SaaS/ Fusion Applications projects, rollouts, and application support in the Oracle ERP/HCM/EPM/Kronos Cloud – Technology domain.
- Hire right talent, build required competencies, and deliver projects/rollouts leveraging Oracle Cloud Technologies – OIC, OCI platform, BIP, Oracle Analytics
- Demonstrate experience as a senior resource leading systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, test strategy, solution architecture, release management, application maintenance and enhancement.
- Controlling and reporting progress to the Stakeholders and internally within the organization and escalating any issues, as appropriate, in a timely manner. Initiating corrective action where necessary to keep the project on track.
- Continually assessing potential risks and issues maintaining risk and issue logs, and contingency plans.
- Playing a lead role in defining an effective communication strategy for the project, including communicating and consulting with key stakeholders.
- Identify inter-dependencies between the various stakeholder groups to ensure all are aligned and risks are identified, mitigated, and communicated.
- Ensuring appropriately skilled resources are delivering the project and managing the availability and performance of those consultants.
- Develop internal Capability solutions and methodologies.
What would your day look like?
- Collaborate with Implementation Partner and IS teams across Providence and drive ERP implementations, rollouts of ERP solution to new entities, manage release and operations.
Who are we looking for?
- 10-15+ years of Application design, implementation and/or maintenance of large-scale Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning systems (Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle EPM etc.) technology including Infrastructure and Security domain.
- Solid Oracle ERP/HCM Technology experience across implementation and support in one of following technology areas and platforms:
- Oracle Infrastructure Cloud Gen 2
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) with experience of other MW/PaaS platforms like Boomi, ADF
- Architect and manage Oracle PaaS platform with experience on managing custom extensions build using JCS/VBCS.
- Understanding and exposure to Oracle Reporting tools i.e., Enterprise Financial Performance Management applications (Financial Consolidation (FCCS), Planning & Budgeting (PBCS), Enterprise Data Management (EDMCS)
- ERP experience must also include good understanding of business process integration of Oracle apps with other business apps (e.g., Kronos, EPM Suite, 3rd party application)
- Overall strong Project Management capabilities and proven experience in delivering complex Oracle Applications projects using agile methodologies and release management processes.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
- Ability to led and manage teams in a global setup across shores.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills
- Strong interest in developing internal Capability solutions and methodologies.
