Senior Manager - Engineering Program Management
What will you be responsible for?
- Build, grow, and nurture a team of talented Program Managers working on large scale Onprem and cloud infrastructure transformation projects
- Work as a key member of a tightknit leadership team to create a high performing team that will drive necessary change and leadership, in a consistent way, throughout the organization
- Lead the team of Technical Program Managers focused on Infrastructure, you’ll use your Influence, thought leadership and technical expertise to drive complex, multi-disciplinary projects in Providence Infrastructure space
What would your day look like?
- Effectively build relationships with business, management, and global stakeholders through positive interaction and problem identification and resolution to enable business teams to focus on driving their business
- Partner closely with engineering leads and cross-functional disciplines to guide technical projects
- Drive multiple projects and stakeholder management, reporting & dashboards
- Focus on communicating and translating non-technical to technical (and vice versa) requirements and discussions
Who are we looking for?
- 10+ years of leadership experience, including 7+ years of Program mgmt. and 5+ years of people mgmt. experience leading technical teams in a complex environment
- Experience managing end-to end execution of complex programs that span multiple engineering teams through the Software or Hardware lifecycle
- Manage technology programs, defining milestones and success criteria, resource allocation and successful on-time delivery
- Experience with technologies such as virtualization, compute, storage, migration, capacity and Cloud Solutions
- Experience managing programs with remote/distributed teams
- PMP, CSM, CSPO or any other relevant certification in related space will be added advantage.
- Knowledge or exposure on LEAN, Six Sigma, KANBAN
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or information science or related field education/experience
