Senior Manager – Global Finance Operations

 

How is this team contributing to vision of Providence?

The Senior Manager for Global Finance Operations plays a crucial role in leading the team to ensure and maintain accurate and timely financial reporting. This position includes managing operations, meeting SLAs and targets, maintaining appropritae controls, analyzing data and preparing reports, and collaboration with various stakeholders to support the operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team and work closely with the global stakeholders to ensure accurate recording (Accruals, Amortization, Allocation, Reclass, etc), reporting, consolidation and analyzing reports pertaining to General Ledger, Cash & Treasury, Investment, Fixed assets, Intercompany, Payroll, Leases, Inventory and AR accounting

  • Active participation in review of month-close activities and work with Providence Entities and the global stakeholders to have strong controls in place.

  • Review monthly financial statements of various Providence entities to ensure the numbers are materially accurate

  • Ensure all Balance Sheet items are appropriately reconciled with appropriate documentation in place. Closely monitor, review and ensure resolution of all aged open items.

  • Analyse and review monthly reports as required and resolve queries and complex accounting issues.

  • Review critical audit deliverables during audit.

  • Periodic sample review of SOP's to make sure any process changes, exceptions and new learnings are updated timely.

  • Lead process improvement, standardization and automation initiatives to create value and improve efficiency and partner with Global Process Owners to implement.

  • Actively involvement in planning and ensuring smooth transition.

  • ERP : Experience on working with Oracle ERP would be a plus.

 

Who are we looking for?

  • Preferably CA with 12+ years of experience in General Ledger, Cash & Treasury, Investment, Fixed assets, Intercompany, Payroll, Leases, Tax, Inventory & AR accounting

  • Excellent communication skills and cross -departmental collaboration skills

  • Ability to manage and analyze large amounts of data in Excel and process improvement.

  • Experience in working with global stakeholders

  • High-performance creativity and positive personality

  • Night shift role, PST/EST time zone
