Senior Manager - HRBP
What will you be responsible for?
As Senior Manager – HRBP for Providence India, you will be a strategic people partner to senior business leaders, helping translate business priorities into high-impact talent, organization, and culture outcomes. This role requires a strong balance of business acumen, HR depth, sound judgment, and execution discipline. You will partner with leaders to anticipate people needs, shape scalable solutions, enable leadership effectiveness, strengthen caregiver engagement, and build organizational capability for sustained growth.
You will partner with the External Services pillar, a growth-critical business function focused on go-to-market execution, practice building, new health system onboarding, governance, and delivery excellence. As the single point of accountability for talent imperatives, people metrics, and delivery governance, you will engage across the deal lifecycle and post-onboarding journey, partnering closely with business and client HR stakeholders. The role will also shape future-ready frameworks, playbooks, and AI-enabled HR strategies that support scale, agility, and differentiated business outcomes.
In this role, you will be expected to:
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, translating business strategy into clear people priorities, workforce plans, and organization actions.
- Own the people agenda for the External Services pillar, including talent strategy, engagement, leadership enablement, organization design, and governance rhythms.
- Use data, workforce insights, and business context to anticipate talent risks, identify opportunities, and influence decisions with measurable people and business impact.
- Drive talent management, succession planning, leadership development, and performance enablement practices that build future-ready capability.
- Coach leaders and managers on complex people matters, performance conversations, team effectiveness, employee relations, and policy application with fairness and consistency.
- Lead change management for growth initiatives, operating model shifts, process improvements, and culture-building efforts, ensuring strong adoption and leadership alignment.
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated solutions across compensation, talent acquisition, learning, inclusion, employee relations, and HR operations.
- Build scalable HR frameworks, playbooks, and governance mechanisms that support new client onboarding, delivery maturity, and repeatable business growth.
- Strengthen caregiver experience by improving engagement, retention, manager effectiveness, and the quality of day-to-day work relationships.
- Maintain strong awareness of employment practices and compliance requirements, proactively reducing people risk while enabling thoughtful, business-aligned decisions.
Who are we looking for?
- 12+ years of progressive HR experience, with strong business partnering exposure in services, consulting, technology, healthcare, or other high-growth environments.
- Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline; experience from a leading business school will be an advantage.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand growth priorities, operating models, delivery commitments, and the talent implications of business decisions.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, build trust quickly, and provide balanced counsel in ambiguous, complex, and fast-moving situations.
- Hands-on, action-oriented mindset with the maturity to move seamlessly between strategic thinking and disciplined execution.
- Demonstrated experience in organization design, workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, performance management, employee relations, and change leadership.
- Strong analytical orientation with the ability to convert people data and business insights into practical recommendations and measurable outcomes.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and program management skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
