  1. Own the Transformation Roadmap – Design and execute a rolling 12-month lean/Six Sigma agenda that maps value streams, removes non-value-add steps, and embeds standard work instructions across every finance tower.
  2. Act as Liaison Between GFO and Automation Teams – Identify new opportunities for automation and process improvement and serve as the primary link between the GFO team and the Automation/Analytics team.
  3. Build a Citizen-Developer Centre of Excellence – Recruit and certify “makers,” run Power Apps/UiPath hackathons, publish reusable components, and enforce SDLC guardrails that satisfy IT, risk, and data-privacy requirements.
  4. Scale Automation & Analytics – Deploy invoice OCR with AI Builder, BlackLine auto-recs, and Alteryx/UiPath bots that shave days off the close and free capacity for value-added analysis.
  5. Lead Cross-Border Stakeholder Governance – Run weekly cadence reviews with U.S. controllership, escalate blockers with solution options, and keep leadership aligned through real-time Power BI dashboards on KPI trends and ROI.
  6. Coach, Inspire & Grow Talent – Instil a “see waste → fix waste” mindset, mentor team members toward Green-/Black-Belt certification, and embed continuous-learning pathways that future-proof both people and processes.
