This team plays a pivotal role in advancing Providence’s vision by delivering innovative, user-centered digital experiences. Comprising Engineers, Producers, QA specialists, and Project Managers, the team is dedicated to building scalable, secure, and high-performing web platforms that empower patients, enhance digital engagement, and elevate stakeholder satisfaction.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Manager – Software Engineering & Architecture, you will own end-to-end engineering delivery and technical architecture for enterprise platforms built on Sitecore XP/XM Cloud and Microsoft technologies. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, PGC leadership, and Technical Product Owners to translate strategy into scalable, AI-ready solutions.

You will also be responsible for defining and driving the project and platform roadmap, aligning business priorities with delivery milestones and long-term technical direction. This role acts as a technical enabler for the broader organization, establishing engineering, data, and platform governance practices—including data quality, security, access patterns, compliance, and responsible AI usage—to ensure consistency, scalability, and sustainability across initiatives.

What would your week look like?

  • Lead end-to-end architecture and engineering delivery using Sitecore XP/XM Cloud, C#, ASP.NET, GraphQL and SQL..
  • Stay hands-on with design, development, and code reviews across backend and frontend layers.
  • Guide full stack development using React / Angular / Next.js integrated with Sitecore.
  • Experience designing event‑driven or asynchronous architectures.
  • Collaborate with clients, product owners, UX, QA, and leadership on roadmap and execution.
  • Define technical direction, architecture standards, and engineering best practices.
  • Review and resolve complex technical issues, risks, and production challenges.
  • Ensure solutions meet performance, security, scalability, and availability standards.
  • Drive adoption of Azure Cloud, CI/CD, and modern DevOps practices.
  • Mentor engineers and technical leads while enabling predictable delivery.

Who we are looking for?

  • 12–15+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with strong expertise in Sitecore XP/XM Cloud (must have).
  • Proven full stack experience with C#, ASP.NET, GraphQL, Web/API development.
  • Strong frontend experience with React, Angular, or Next.js.
  • Experience with AI–first architecture or AI-enabled initiatives.
  • Deep experience with Azure Cloud services and deployments.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL and data modeling.
  • Experience leading enterprise-scale platform architecture.
  • Ability to work closely with clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
  • Experience addressing non-functional requirements such as resiliency, and observability.
  • Experience working on Healthcare projects with understanding of its compliance requirements.
