Organization Background:

The Network Operations team is responsible for the management, and support of the enterprise’s network infrastructure.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Manage/operate enterprise level network solutions including routing and switching, SDWAN infrastructure.
  • Secure, monitor, operate and troubleshoot enterprise networks.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and ensure quick resolution of outages and performance degradations.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with security protocols and standards.
  • Monitor network performance and identify areas for improvement, ensuring network uptime and reliability
  • Document network configurations, diagrams, processes and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Work on incidents and provide timely resolution within SLA.
  • Perform network upgrades, patching and performance tuning.

How would your day look like?

  • Troubleshoot network issues reported through service management tools.
  • Work on Service Requests/Change Requests and co-ordinate with end users for validation and testing.
  • Participate in ITIL-based incident and change management process.
  • Document SOP's for day-to-day operations.
  • Monitor network performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinate with ISP's and vendors for service delivery and support.
  • Monitor and analyze network performance using SolarWinds/Cisco Prime/DNAC

Who are we looking for?

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science /IT or related field with 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Network Routing and Switching, SD-WAN infrastructure.
  • Manage and operate enterprise networks.
  • Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
  • Experience with VLAN's STP, EtherChannel, ACL's, NAT
  • Hands-on experience with SD-WAN platforms (any of cisco Viptela, Aruba SilverPeak)
  • Experience with WAN Technologies, VPN's.
  • Understanding of network security fundamentals and segmentation.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds.
  • Familiarity with basic scripting or automation is a plus.
  • Experience with firewalls is an added advantage.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • CCNA (Routing and switching)
  • AASP-Aruba Accredited SD-WAN Professional/ Cisco ENSDWI
