Job Title: Senior Principal Technical Program Manager - India

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Principal Technical Program Manager to drive the end-to-end provider credentialing capability for large health systems. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of end-to-end provider credentialing operations, regulatory compliance, payer enrollment processes, and program delivery management. 

You will be responsible for setting up the COE for the provider credentialing capability with end-to-end technology solutions.

 Effective executive stakeholder engagement, building roadmaps, influencing the balance of scope-budget-timelines, strategic planning, and demonstrating agile expertise with functional-technical-operational processes are some of the other key capabilities for this role. An ideal candidate will have strong intellectual curiosity along with an optimistic outlook towards challenges.

Responsibilities:

Technology strategy: Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the technology solutions in Provider Credentialing. Implement automation and AI-driven solutions to improve credentialing productivity and accuracy.

  • Requirements Gathering & Prioritization: Work with stakeholders (HR, recruitment teams, customers, and leadership) to define solution requirements and prioritize features that align with business objectives. Balance short-term deliverables with long-term strategic goals.
  • Process Improvement & Transformation: Identify opportunities for workflow optimizations and operation efficiencies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, UX/UI, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure timely and high-quality product releases.
  • Innovation & Competitive Analysis: Keep a close eye on market trends, competitor offerings, and new technologies.
  • Data Analytics & Reporting: Setup a data strategy for ingesting provider data, with data governance and master data management.

Leadership & People Management:

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Product Owners, setting clear expectations, guiding them through career development, and fostering a collaborative environment to achieve high-impact results.
  • People Development: Provide coaching, growth opportunities, and professional development in the credentialing capability. Exposure to domain trainings across the team.

 

  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for senior leadership, effectively communicating product strategies, progress, and roadmaps. Represent product strategy in leadership meetings.

Metrics & Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Define key metrics for solution performance, including user adoption, engagement, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Own the solution success by regularly tracking performance against KPIs and making data-driven decisions to improve product performance.
  • Should be a thought leader and drive the technology innovation agenda through collaboration with product development and other stake holders
  • The position is based in Hyderabad and requires collaboration with global teams in different time zones.

 

Who we’re looking for:

  • Experience: Minimum 12+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5+ years in leading provider solutions.
  • Provider Credentialing Functional Experience: Strong understanding of end-to-end provider credentialing, onboarding, primary source verification, CAQH, NPPES, Privileging & payer rostering and enrollments.
  • Technical Understanding: Comfortable working closely with engineering teams on technical solutions and understanding the complexities of building custom portals and integrations within enterprise software environments.
  • Agile Methodology: Proficient in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and able to manage product backlogs, sprints, and releases effectively.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Proven track record of leading, mentoring, and growing a team of product managers and owners. Able to set vision, align goals, and create pathways for career development.
  • Customer & Business Focus: Demonstrated ability to translate customer feedback into product features and strategies. Ability to see the big picture and align product initiatives with overall company objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage expectations and lead cross-functional teams. Comfortable influencing and collaborating with C-level executives and other key stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

 

Desired Skills/Experience
 

  • Atleast 12+ years of work experience in product development and engineering.
  • Experience with Provider Solutions like onboarding, recruiting, credentialing.
  • Experience with Engineering and product development.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based HR tools and the latest innovations in recruitment technologies.
  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in using analytics tools to monitor and assess product performance.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills in team settings.
  • Experience in healthcare domain is good to have.
  • Background with Agile, Scrum, lean principles and other software development methodologies 
  • Good to have Agile certifications like Certified SAFe Agilist (Scaled Agile)
  • 5+ years of program management, product ownership and should be able to communicate with the business and a technical team serving as a liaison connect.
  • 5+ years of experience breaking down business requirements into features and solutions in an agile environment
  • Comfortable using tools such as Azure DevOPs, GitHub and identify meaningful insights 
  • Proven track record of delivering data driven and complex solutions with a customer-first mindset 
  • Established background in launching software or services with high degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, understanding of Agile principles
