Senior Service Engineer
What will you be responsible for?
- Manage Azure Cloud and OnPrem Windows environment.
- Deliver best Practices around provisioning, operations and management of Azure cloud environment
- Work on building and maintaining Ent Virtualization environment OnPrem with VMWare and HyperV
- Work on complex environment consisting of Windows and Linux machines
- Error resolutions and RCA for Major Incidents
- Able to present KPIs to stake holders
- Bring Engineering and Automation skillsets to reduce manual churn and improve availability
What would your day look like?
- Primarily responsible for managing OnPrem and Azure Windows environment
- Working on Incident, Changes, Requests and Engineering Projects
- Managing Hypervisor environment in VMWare and HyperV
- Ability to perform Root cause Analysis for MI’s hitting compute space
- Drive Get Current and Stay Current Initiatives for greater Compliance
- Use Data to identify optimization and modernization opportunities and run it as project.
- Use automation to enable Self Service capabilities and reducing manual overhead
- Proficient in Scripting and Automation platforms like PowerShell, Python, Ansible etc
- Drive multiple projects and stakeholder management, reporting & dashboards
Who are we looking for?
- 4-7 years of experience in managing enterprise OnPrem and Cloud Infra
- Well versed with Windows and VMWare/HyperV Administration.
- Manage the cloud infrastructure environment through cross technology administration (OS, databases, virtual networks), execution of scripting and monitoring automations
- Experience on Azure Runbooks, functions, LA, Logic Apps, Logic monitoring etc
- Experience in automating daily tasks utilizing any of the scripting languages like bash, JSON, Python, PowerShell.
- OS design, installation, configuration, and support in an Enterprise environment.
- Troubleshoot, maintain integrity and implement operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
- Ability to work in ambiguous work environment with global team setup
- Experience working in feature crew model, knowledge of Agile framework
- Ability to learn and adapt to changing landscape and acquire new skills with technology advancement
- Strong communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills both in written and verbal correspondence
