Senior Service Engineer
Organization Background:
The Endpoint Engineering Services team manages all the client endpoints across our enterprise: Windows and Apple desktops, laptops, iPhones, and iPads. We are responsible for ensuring that endpoints and their software are up to date with the latest approved OS version, patched, application delivery is maintained, and overall health is maintained. We ensure a seamless experience for caregivers through a centralized tool that automates many of these transactions.
What will you be responsible for?
- Configuring security patching and policy updates for iPhones, iPads, and Androids through Microsoft Intune
- Agent installation, remediation, and monitoring of coverage
- Ensuring mobile client devices are up to date with the latest version of security patches and policies
- Monitor, report out, and define corrective steps to drive mobile client devices to check in timely.
- Perform remote tasks such as device sync, passcode reset, wipe, reboot, and activation lock bypass using Intune console.
- Configure and deploy App Protection Policies (APP) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) settings.
- Troubleshoot device compliance issues, application deployment failures, and enrollment errors
- Setting up new and retiring old software for mobile client devices
- Deploying software through Microsoft Intune
- Create/manage Entra ID directory groups
- Demonstrating an engineering mindset and automating operations tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, and Python
- Documenting and sharing operating processes and procedures
- Create data visualizations within Power BI for internal and external needs
What would your day look like?
- Administering Microsoft Intune
- Triage and manage Requests, Incidents, and Project work through ServiceNow and Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Deploying security policies/software through Microsoft Intune
- Configure/schedule client laptop security patching
- Write scripts for reporting and operational automation
- Monitor, report out to management various security patching-related KPI and prepare and execute corrective action plans to meet KPIs
Who are we looking for?
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Microsoft Intune mobile device management.
- Experience with large deployments that have a lot of variety
- Experience with: PowerShell, SQL, Power BI, and APIs
- Ability to troubleshoot technical problems, demonstrate problem-solving
- Ability to effectively communicate and excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience working in Agile/sprints in a global team setup
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Management, or IS
- Strong understanding of identity and access management (e.g., Entra ID, Active Directory), including conditional access, authentication protocols, and role-based access control
