What will you be responsible for?

  • Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
  • Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and support release activities
  • Error resolutions and RCA for Major Incidents
  • Expertise in Migrating DBs to Cloud and manage the db’s

What would your day look like?

  • Primarily responsible for managing OnPrem and Azure SQL Server & Postgres environments
  • Working on Incident, Changes, Requests and Engineering Projects
  • Drive Get Current and Stay Current Initiatives, including monthly patching
  • Use Data to identify optimization and modernization opportunities
  • Use automation to enable Self Service capabilities and reducing manual overhead
  • Work in shift model, provide oncall coverage including on weekends/ holidays

Who are we looking for?

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in DBA role for managing Enterprise SQL Server and Postgres Databases running OnPrem and Cloud
  • Experience in High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
  • Experience with database maintenance activities like backups, patching, restores and recovery models
  • Well versed with Windows and Azure Administration
  • Manage the cloud infrastructure environment through cross technology administration (OS, databases, virtual networks), execution of scripting and monitoring automations
  • Proficient in Scripting and Automation platforms like PowerShell and Python
  • Experience working in feature crew model, knowledge of Agile framework
  • Ability to work in ambiguous work environment with global team setup
  • Ability to learn and adapt to changing landscape and acquire new skills with technology advancement
  • Strong communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills both in written and verbal correspondence
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or IS
  • Azure Certifications: AZ 900, DP 300
