The candidate must possess experience in all phases of software development cycle, delivering products and/ or services that speak for themselves and are keen on collaborating cross-discipline for design, development, testing and DevOps.

As a Senior mobile developer, the candidate will work with the India and global teams, collaborating with diverse and multi-disciplinary teams to provide solution and deliver complex projects. The candidate will build a strong relationship with all the stakeholders and ensure their continuous engagement to ensure quality delivery.

 

Responsibilities

As a Lead you would be responsible for delivery and quality of products/ applications; helping deliver solutions delighting caregivers, improving patient experience and adding strategic value to Providence St. Joseph Health.

You will work with one or more scrum teams to understand functional requirements, plan product increments and continue to deliver value with every sprint. In addition, you would:

  • Conceptualizing and formulating apps that are suitable for use on all types of Android devices.
  • Implementing measures to safeguard users' data.
  • Ensuring that the construction and presentation of your apps are congruent with the company's standards.
  • Collaborate with a small, autonomous team of developers, designers, and product owners to find end-to-end solutions to important problems
  • Join other developers and help to shape the direction of Android development at Providence
  • Insist on a consistent and responsive user experience for every one of our users
  • Continue to learn, grow, and help us tackle brand new challenges

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Must have 7+ years of technology experience with 5+ years of experience in Android application development
  • Have prior experience as an Android Developer using Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Android NDK
  • Experience with Material Design and Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
  • Familiarity with Android integration with Flutter
  • Have experience in publishing an application on the Google Play store
  • Proven work experience in design patterns mobile architecture using frameworks such as MVVM/MVC/MVP
  • Know how to write readable, maintainable, performant object-oriented Java/Kotlin
  • Experience with Android development tools
  • Ability to manage workload with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to effectively integrate Android applications
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
  • Familiarity with various testing tools like Appium, Espresso etc
